Our biggest problem this year is defence.Last year we had 13 clean sheets. This year Milan conceded in every game.Defence regressed big time this year.

Love, Fabio! Man has given everything he has, every single time he has stepped on the pitch. Barring CB & GK, I think he has played in every other position. His skill level is up for debate but can't ask more from anyone.
<3

Should try him at GK

Yeah, too bad he is useless in every position.

A below average player who gives everything on the pitch earns more respect than an average one who isn’t always involved in the game. Holds true in sports at every level, no?

If only respect and honor could earn you points.

Borini is a sub level player. He has no place in milan.

Not even as a reserve. I expect come summer we will get rid ourselves of his wages.

Biglia/Bakayoko taking turns losing the ball in bad areas.

Shocking midfield, nice to see two strikers though

Honestly start Bonaventura at CM and play Castillejo on the left? Bakayoko makes me feel sick starting from the start and this game is massive for our season. We win this and we’re wxactly where we want to be, 4th!

I’d love for us to finally keep a clean sheet, but let’s be honest. That isn’t happening, our defence/GK are really horrendous atm.

Love the Higuain/Cutrone partnership, it frees up Higuain massively.

Hopefully Suso keeps up his great form, without him this team is a shambles really.

Matchday!

Am worried about Bakayoko starting alongside Biglia. True, it is in his favoured position in a formation he did well in before, but would be really worried about him covering Musacchio and Abate. It's going to be a rough ride. If Bakayoko will ever shine, this is his time to do so. I think Bertolacci looked just as poor when coming on, so we don't really have any options.

Laxalt is essential on the left - he will tuck in more to the centre as he did in the second half as a modified mezzala to help Romagnoli and RR. Castillejo may come on later to provide incision if required.

It will be a real slug-fest with our porous midfield but hopefully our strength in attack will be enough to pull us up to fourth.

3-2 is what I predict, Cutrone, Higuain and Suso to score for us.

Forza Milan!

I agree with you but he is a still a Milan player and he gives his all on the pitch. I'm fine with that for the time being.

This looks like a tough game for us...with Kessie missing.

Hearing Bakoyoko might start is like hearing J. Mauri may start...doesn't inspire any confidence at all...

Whats up with Bonaventura...is he fit?

If Rino will get sacked this season, it's because of Bakayoko. He should avoid him like poison
His love for borini is something
While bakayoko only start because kessie injured

I'd either start Bona in CM with Laxalt as LM to add some stability or Bona/Hakan/Samu LM and a chance for bakayoko in CM.
Laxalt and Bakayoko is a bit too much clumsyness for my taste.

lets see if our team will get points under some pressure (4th spot in league) or crumble.

Agreed. Can we win a single game without the drama already.

Indeed, most of our games are like nail-biting cup finals. Understandable against top teams. Against mid-table and lower table relegation battlers, not so much.

Hopefully we don't struggle against this peasants, but that would imply that Gattuso actually turned into a decent coach in the past week, which i highly doubt.

We are most likely going to win this due to some individual brilliance, not team play.

Laxalt and Bakayoko lack the technique and are technically limited to play besides each other as both cant do much with the ball at their feet. If Kessie is injured we really don't have much choice but to play Baka. In that case a more technically gifted player should be besides him (either Samu or Hakan)

Likely lineup

Donnarumma, Abate, Musachio, Romagnoli, Rodriguez, Suso, Kessie, Biglia, Castillejo, Cutrone, Higuain [4-4-2]

should be easy 3 points.

Calhanoglu will start against Genoa on the left midfield, according to Sky.
