I don't think he'll be a 'trequartista' in the same way Hakan played it. He'll be a second striker floating around Ibra.

4-2-2-2? I don't see Leao contributing something similar to a Hakan performance, but having him backing up Ibra could turn out very interesting against a low tier team.

Not exactly. Remember when we first shifted away from Susoball we played 442 with Ibra and Leao up front. We played quite a few games like that before the lack of balance made Pioli shift to a 4231. It was Hakan on the left, and not Rebic as seems likely now, but it's still not something we're unfamiliar with.

Tonali/Bennacer I‘d give one half each. With 5 subs that‘s not a problem.

Yup.

Brings back memories of discussions about whether Pioli will field Rebic at LM since Fraudoglu is shit. I thought it would make it even more unbalanced.

I still do, but hey it's Bologna, just a makeshift solution and this time we (might) have Mandzukic to come on for one of the strikers.

Watching Samu get constant starts really kills one's vibe.

Arguably the most useless player on the team. Hopefully he atleast turns up against the bottom teams.

We're getting more and more players back now. I think we will crush Bologna tomorrow and return to winning convincingly until the derby. Which we'll also win.

Leao can't play trequartista and track back through the middle and do all that midfield work.

This is going to be a 4411 with Rebic and Samu closing the midfield.
