I dont know

If it were a proper coach he would have dropped Donna's ass long back ergo no fuckin chance for a mistake

I don’t think the coaches regarded “top” would drop Donna.

Maybe. But I don’t think so.

Also, the game doesn’t play out like that.

Dropping the person that in hindsight made a mistake doesn’t rewrite the match and guarantee a win.

If Liverpool’s goalkeeper in the finals didn’t fuck up so bad something else could have happened.

This Monday morning hypothetical approach to matches isn’t reality

Let me lay this down once and for all

This “admiring players of other teams”- especially when they are direct rivals due to an appreciation of the game

It’s blaspehmy.

Now... if the Milan leadership manages to sign a good player from another team, even a rival, well... that changes things

otherwise, Messis, CR7s, Hazards etc - can fuck themselves into oblivion

Nope.

Genie, don't you admire Zlatan? he also played of Inter.
please explain why it's not a blasphemy

Normally I would be condescending at this point but I think you deserve better

The answer to that question is simple

If a player from a rival joins Milan, that changes things

We support players who play for Milan and especially if they do well

This is a universal law

Look, I don’t mind admiring a specific performance of the body of work from a skilled player...

But if said player doesnt play for Meelan or happens to play against Milan, and especially if they play for a rival... I want them to fail

This isn’t a difficult concept and it’s either I’m not explaining my position well enough or you’re a blasphemer

Ye they would have

No top coach would continue to stand his bs fuckups, which have become almost regular now.

Dude literally inspires no confidence. And even bar the colossal fuckup, he was still pretty shit. Ye, he made one or two saves but the dude cant punch the ball clear to save his life. Not to mention the sheer amount of time he takes to pass the ball (which ends up with us getting pressure the fuck out of and losing it). Also, the less we say about his distribution skills, the better.

So yes, any top coach would have dropped his ass. Why would they continue playing him when there is a far better option on the bench?

Only at fuckin Milan we would fuck up our chances of a top 4 because we would rather continue playing Italy's 'great' promise than a keeper who was number one for the Serie A runners up.

Before Ibrahimovic was seriously linked to Milan, I wanted him to fail

That’s especially true of his inter days

Is there some hidden prank camera set up in this thread?

What the actual fuck is going on with milan fans these days.

Gattuso's interview irks me even more

He decided to play Cutrone on the wing because it was useless to put crosses into the box because of Inter's CBs. So WTF would you bring Cutrone on in the first place you fuck? The kid is deadly in the box but he is not a bloody winger and doesnt have the ball skills to play as one. This shit would have flown if we didnt have wingers but we fucking did.

Literally speaking like a man who has lost the plot.

This “only at Milan” is horseshit

Every fan bitches about how the coach or the players or the management needs sacking when things don’t go well

This is especially true of well known clubs

What is also horseshit is that same idea you are prosztelyzimg; that other coaches would never make the perceived mistakes you see with Milan’s coaches.

Unless you’re narrowing the coaching list to 2-3 coaches in the world who

I repeat

Will not coach this club

Sevilla is 4th in la Liga

Raise your hand if you wanted their coach sacked when he managed Milan

Clearly shows how much football you actually follow

Montella got sacked last season already

Shall the General Re-open the case of Allegri?

Conte couldn’t even get that team to the finals

Shall we take a look at what most people claimed about Allegri?

Seems like he’s doing ok and might have even grabbed a CL title if it wasn’t for an arguably one of the best attack of all time Barca and CL machine Madrid

You’re all just muddling in the dark

That’s not my point.

A big club took montella

A big club took Allegri

Succeeding and failing isn’t just a simple formula of “get another coach”

Or even “sign my favorite player”

Him and his bro are costing us 10M+

Missing out on UCL (due to his errors) will cost us atleast 40-50M

Gettin rid of this cancer asap is the best for Milan no matter how u look at it.

And i was his #1 fan.... right up until he refused to sign the contract last season.

Give him to juve for all i care. Get Douglas Costa in return.
Just call him..
Look son we have to rearrange your contract. You'll get 1.5M. Antonio will get 0.25M. Signed now. Or you know where the exit is

But lets not pretend that fans are just gonna be happy and let things slide despite seeing zero improvements. This is a fan forum after all, so last I checked they are well within their right to air their grievances.

What was that famous quote again? "Doing the same thing over and over again is the definition of madness"

Thats what Milan is doing right now or shall I say for a while now. Constantly hiring inexperienced coaches who buckle under the pressure.

Theres no guarantee that hiring a top coach will help us reach our goals. But it sure as hell is a lot more than doing the same shit over and over again.

And what exactly is your role in this forum again? The only thing you do is belittle others for their opinions and tell people what they should/shouldnt do.

What do you think our solution would be? Maintain the status quo (considering things dont seem to be improving whatsoever and we keep making the same mistakes game after game) or start taking more drastic actions?

Be reminded, we maintained the status quo for a while last season and look where that ended up getting us.

Gattuso has a lot of positives, but if at the end of the day he cant bring in results he needs to fuckin go. Club Legend or not. Its about time we stop hiring coaches (or keeping them) purely based of nostalgia.

Inter faced years of mediocrity just like Milan but then decided to hire a proper coach that knows how to finish in the top 4 when one came available. Now seem to be heading somewhere. Everyone at Milan prior to Elliott’s arrival continued the experiment coach philosophy and nothing has changed. Although it definitely looks like Gattuso only got the job because the Chinese ownership were cons and dirt poor. They just decided to promote within. They could have offered Gattuso a shit contract and he probably would’ve taken it. This will be his only sniff of managing a top club. Conte is coming next season and things will get back on track.

So a club just has to hire a proper coach and dishes are done?

This is a fair post and knock it off with “all you do is belittle people” that’s bullshit

Sure... Milan should make appropriate adjustments.

also, I don’t think I’m saying Milan should keep the status quo.

Conte is a weird ask from my perspective for several reasons that have nothing to do with him coaching Juventus.

I’m simply saying that we don’t know what those levers are to ensure success.

How was the game I didn’t watch it. I read the goal came from Donnarumma error.

I’m not surprised if that was the case.

I heard that if we all went back in time and dropped Donna for Reina, Milan would have probably won

Going back in time. Hmmm interesting.

I’m thinking about dropping Dida and winning the 05 CL final for Milan

Not sure if I have time to get around to it but it’s on my list

I really liked when you thought Montella was still managing Sevilla and then tried to back your way out of it lol
