Started very well yesterday, I was happy to see him constantly pressing the defence and trying to win the ball back in good positions.

After around the 25th minute, he dropped off drastically. Needs to do far better than this to compete against a good Serie A team.

When Cutrone came on and took on striker duties, he should have done more with the space he got.

I'm pretty sure you didn't watch the fucking match to be posting shit like this. Silva played well....was just a bit isolated and had Borini brained smartly he'd have scored. He was very dangerous.

even borini wasn't that great either
he played like a discount daniel Alves for us, always went super high compared to RR and he was dangerous indeed but his defensive contribution is not so much, still our best player that night

Cutrone is not bad and works hard, but Silva always looks dangerous with the ball to me.

If Cutrone gets no service he is invisible, whereas I feel Silva can do more with little.

It genuinely seems like Montella hates him, I know that's ludicrous but it fits.

He can't compete with Kalinic and Cutrone as lone striker, he's also not good enough for a coach to switch to sacrifice Suso/Bona to switch to 2 striker formations.

Our Andre won't be here long either if he continues to just stroll around the pitch with the occasional spark of energy.

Montella is right to speak up for him whenever media asks about him though. Our Andre needs to learn fast but he should be given at least one full season to get there.

I´m glad the hype fades a bit, this is necessary for him to become good.

What he offers now (not his potential! ) was and still is overrated by many users in my opinion.
