He's our best LB after Antonelli. He didn't fuck up tonight so I don't get tha hate at all, but I think he'd be even better in 3-5-2.

i like his aggression but he needs to work on his positioning especially against quicker opponents, although i dont get why we allowed felipe anderson to isolate him so often during the game, someone should have been sent over to help.

The dude had no idea how to defend and position himself and was run over almost every single time while offer next to nothing going forward. There's a reason he only has chance when no one else is available

I dont think people are shitting on him for getting owned by Anderson as
many expected him to be shite defensively, which is why Montella has played even Calabria ahead of him. But the fact that he offers very little going forward (supposedly his strength) is why people are ragging on him.

I've said before

It happened a lot during the game, F.Anderson keeps getting 1v1 with Vang with no support which means sooner or later anderson will get through. Again F.anderson is one of the best dribblers in the league so what do people expect from Vang, Get real.

As for him going Forward, Oh my...Horrible

He's come too late in his career to a European League. I think he would have some potential, if he'd been transferred at around 26 y.o. or younger.

I've been saying for some time that fullback positions are one of the first we should upgrade. Some real quality FBs would improve our game so much.

Vangioni is not the solution, but he's just showing that DES is nothing special.
