Thought this would be an interesting thread. As season is winding down in Europe, pick a starting XI of european based players, based on 2007-2008 form.
(I love kaka, pirlo, nesta..and would pick them on any team, but theyve all had up and down years)

Narrowly missed out : Mutu, Mascherano, Rooney, Camoranesi (injured too much), Dainelli, Lee Miller, Chiellini, Darren Mackie, Messi (nearly got in just for scoring against Celtic), Benzema (same story but against Rangers), Fabregas and I've probably forgotten a lot of players.

if fiorentina can clinch 4th and reach uefa finals, its hard to leave mutu out of the team.....considering Toni has ribery, schweinstager crossing to his gigantic head, or rebounding kloses shots.

oddo wasnt THAT bad...in my opnion, pushing up he's been very inconsistant but defensively i still think hes up there as 1 of best rb's in world.... not the way tiago or henry or gila have been for example

I suppose you're right... it just pisses me off how he used to be able to send in these great crosses and then he just suddenly forgot how... he did have a few decent games and like u said his defense hasnt been that bad
