You hate Fernando Alonso AND Michael Schumacher? :proud: Daisuki da yo.

Yes.

I don't like those disgusting mother fuckers. They're cheaters as fuck and they just can't admit it. Always with that puke smile on their faces.

Too bad that Kimi is out of F1. I loved to see him kicking their asses and he was very humble. At least their asses are still being kicked.

I loved Kimi too (but I also love Alonso and Schumi)

I take it you weren't a fan of Ayrton Senna then?

How can anyone love Alonso and Schumacher? They're a mixture of Materazzi and Fernando Torres at the F1.

I don't have Ayrton Senna as an idol and I know that he's not the perfect guy that most of brazilians think he is. But I think that Senna is more comparable to Hamilton than to Alonso and Schumacher.

Hamilton and Button. :(

I join you there, what a bad weekend for McLaren, I'm really sad for Lewis and Jenson, they deserved more points. Now we lost our first places in both championships :(
I hope that we're better after the summer break or it will be really hard to get the lead back.

I dislike both of them, Alonso and Schumacher are cheaters and it's nothing new when they're involved in some investigation after a race because they always act unfair. Yesterday's race was a good showing of that, when Schumacher was really unfair against Barrichello and nearly let him crash on the pit wall, he should get a heavy punishment for that, the one he got is too soft.

And about Kimi, I really liked him too, he was a cool guy, totally different to most of the other drivers, but he was great. It was nice to have him at McLaren for some years, but then it was bad to see him at Ferrari.

Sebastian Vettel Q&A: Hungary lapse already in the past Disappointment was written all over Sebastian Vettel’s face as he received his third place trophy on the Budapest podium. It should have been his race, but the Red Bull driver could not reap the rewards from his prior dominance of the weekend. He may have been angry at the time, but Vettel is not one to dwell on what might have been, and after a few days relaxing at home he’ll be concentrating on Spa…

Q: Sebastian, you dominated the whole weekend and then ended up P3 in the race. Can you find cause for joy in this?
Sebastian Vettel: Well, these are still good points but I should have won and a little negligence from my side trashed it all. I was so sure that the safety car would stay out a bit longer and the punishment I received for that lapse was quite severe. But it does not help to cry over spilled milk.

Q: The drive-through penalty - was that something you take the blame for, or should the team have supervised you in any form? Or at least reminded you of the rules…
SV: I think the main issue was that in the first part of the race we lost the audio contact - what the reason was for that we will have to find out - and that was probably the start of all the misfortune. In the end I didn’t do myself any favours in giving Mark (Webber) so much space, as I have lost ground to him. I don’t have much more to say about it. I was fastest all weekend long and was always the faster of the two of us - except for the race.

Q: You made some unmistakable gestures from the car during your drive-through. When did the first rush of anger pass?
SV: I was there in the car not knowing why I’d got a drive-through penalty, so understandably I was not too happy - and I showed it! Because after that penalty I was stuck behind that red car and from then on my race was over. I’d been much faster but on this track it’s impossible to overtake without the danger of sailing off the track and I wanted to bring these points back home.

Q: Do you think that the penalty was justified?
SV: I don’t want to go out on a limb in this matter. It is just stupid to believe that I transgressed the distance to the safety car on purpose and as to whether the drive-through was a just measure I would not know. In Hockenheim a wrongdoing was punished with a fine - this time with a drive-through!

Q: There was at least one positive side to your race: Lewis Hamilton didn’t get any points at all and if you look at the drivers’ championship everything is still wide open. How easy is it for you to put this race behind you and look forward positively?
SV: Ah, that is never a problem for me. The following day I’ve put everything behind me. It’s simply not good to start reflecting on what could have happened without this lapse, because in this way you keep yourself stuck in something that is already a thing of the past. Sure, the summer break would have been a bit more relaxing with a win - especially when I was holding it almost in my hand and let it slip away.

But I think that Senna is more comparable to Hamilton than to Alonso and Schumacher.

There's truth to that.

Senna had his own regrettable moments - which driver doesn't - but on the whole he was an exceptionally daring driver who was willing to give it everything, and that's an aspect of his reputation that can lazily be confused with Schumacher's notorious hostility.

Hamilton is certainly another driver who gets by on his talent rather than his reputation.

Senna was ruthless too, in the same way Schumi was doing to Rubi, Senna used to go for a line, and set up his car for a collision course with another, it was up to the other driver, crash out, or give up his position.

That wouldn't be allowed these days, but Senna was very intelligent and machine like in his techniques, precise and merciless.

Exactly.

Not saying that Senna and Hamilton didn't have their dirty momments but they are/was more insanely daring than dirty. Schumacher and Alonso, in the other hand, are the most pure lack of character. The same as Materazzi has on football.

Actually I think that a good analogy would be: Senna and Hamilton = Ambrosini. Schumacher and Alonso = Materazzi.

It also must be said that people develop their mentality as the time goes by and it has influence on sport.

Libertadores in the past was so dirty that the Champions League winners sometimes refused to play when the south-american champion was from Argentina or Uruguay. Now we see Lugano and Samuel as tough Uruguay/Argentina players but in the past they would need to be way more bloody to be considered tough.

It still doesn't justify Senna's dirty momments but Schumacher and Alonso do worse than Senna use to do 20 years ago and that just proves how dirty they are.

And I don't remember exactly now but I think that most of Senna's dirty momments was against Prost, that also use to be dirty against Senna.

I also saw the Top Gear homage, and the parallels between the aren't any less tenuous because of it. Plenty of manoeuvres fall under the umbrella of 'dangerous driving', although the above is of the inexcusable variety. That's more in line with Schumacher's reputation than Senna's.

You could probably include all world champions in a generalization about ruthlessness and guile being a requisite for having got them to the top, so it doesn't surprise me that people do draw those parallels between the two in question.

With GP2 and/or GP3 you had also such awesome edit mode or something (a different disk needed)... anyway, that/those game(s) were so realistic (surely compared to other F1 games)... I will wait for you guys your judgements about that new F1 game :D

Back to the real world... hopefully Mark Webber will become World Champion this year... he has been a favourite of my since a very long time... :)

I think it's good for the F1 that Schumi is in it, even though I dislike him very much.

It's amazing how many people I've heard say that, and I agree, it's great to have him back :proud:

I was a big Schumi fan once. But now I don´t like him at all. Still it is because of him that I was and still am a Ferrari fan.

I never liked Alonso but since he drives a Ferrari I hope he wins.

A team fan you know :)

From drivers I only really like(d) J. Button. Became a fan in his first year in f1. He broke the record of the youngest driver ever to get a point (I guess Hamilton beat him at that). So sad he is a mercedes guy now.
