sorry, i want dzeko here and have wanted him here for a while now and i think its a perfect match both for us and him... but 40mil is waaaaaaay too much for a player of his calibur... 40mil is for a player like fabregas, torres, etc... (im not sure id pay 40 for torres in his current form btw) but i'm just saying, these are WC players... i would expect 40 for ibra, but dzeko has proven nothing yet. he plays for wolfsburg and he's the star of the team, there's been plenty of talents like him throughout the years who have done excellent and then come to big teams and flopped (gila for one)... i don't think dzeko will flop here and he's my top choice for a striker for us, but 40 mil is ridiculous for him, hence the reason why NOBODY, not just us, is paying that for him... his price will go down next term bcuz his contract will be about to end and that will be our best chance to get him... other than that, we have to ride out borri (don't sell him short, he was very good last year), hunt, and pippo for another term and tbh, thats a pretty solid striker core if hunt can start to hit form for us and get a little more physical by growing some testes.

There is a reason no one has offered close to 40 mil so far. Don't cus out milan management when city, real madrid, bayern and barca are all very capable of it if they want and haven't

That's a good point. I agree that Dzeko has been overpriced, perhaps mainly due to the asininity of Hoeness. 25M should be the maximum.

I do love to have him at Milan though, very much.
