I expect Switzerland and France. Though, the problem for Switzerland is that Ecuador and Honduras are easy on paper which makes them very complicated.

This is the least active thread in here.

What do you guys think of Deschamps leaving out Nasri? Should a NT coach let pride sail and select the best available players or should he watch over a strong group cohesion?

Now Ribery is out of the WC a player like Nasri could come in handy. Instead, Nasri wasn't even named on the standby list in case of injuries.

Surplus to requirements. :o

Top the group, thrash Bosnia or Nigeria, then Germany probably, Brazil semi and Spain final. I have high hopes.

Hope Varane starts.

What I don't get is, how the fuck Evra is even allowed to step on French territory and not stripped his citizenship, let alone captaining the NT.

Iunno, I'd still say France.

Have to see if they can perform in one unity, they were in absolute shambles after the internal fuss in 2010, if they picked theirselves up they can come far.

To take it all?

Quarter-final run. If they top the group, they could get Bosnia next.

Most WCs have one tier 2 team which gets a QF/SF run. Ghana/Turkey etc. Swiss this time for me.

Necro - I have Switzerland advancing pretty far as well. Really a great group of young players who complement each other very well.

Montero and Caicedo are Ecuadorian players to keep an eye on.

its a real shame that Júnior Sornoza didn't break into the national team this year. id be surprised if ecuador have 6-7 more talented attacking mids than him.
