Movies

Well, I'll join this thread, but I can't tell my favorite movie.
Because I'm a movie's lover, I love everything 'bout it. (I mean, the good ones.) hehe

So, I'll give sugestions as long as I watch a good movie, in my opinion.
I'll list the sugestions on the original title, in english (most of times).

Well, here goes some sugestions:

Taking Lives (suspense)
This is one of those movies which fixes you on the sofa. A very well-done production, at the minimum details.
Ethan Hawke - his sooooo cute. I love him. He's doing a great job in this movie. He makes you believe he's that guy you watch on this movie. I cannot talk nothing else 'bout him. He plays a key caracter.
Angelina Jolie - she's great, and is doing a wonderfull acting too. And for the guys, she's looking very good on this film.

She's an FBI agent.

Million Dollar Baby (drama)
What can I tell 'bout this beautiful movie? It talks 'bout life, strengh, love. And there's a polemic question too.
Directed by Clint Eastwood, who also stars playing Frankie Dunn, a boxe trainner. Starred by Hilary Swank, who plays Maggie Fitzgerald, a lady who wants to be trainned by Frankie (Eastwood) and stablish herself as a boxer. With Morgan Freeman playing Eddie Scrap.
This movie recieved 4 Academy Awards.

Yesterday I saw " Kingdom Of Heaven " .. very nice movie.. I liked it .. also "Spartacus" wasnt bad..

For me the best movie I ever saw was "the Gods Must Be Crazy" part I & II...a hilarious comedy about bushmen in the Kalahari...

Except for Harry Potter, these movies are really good. You have no idea what you're missing. Just try LotR or Star Wars.

Well, I've downloaded Kingdom of Heaven, but I've not watched it yet, 'cause I don't have the apropriated codec(s). Here in my town it's not in exhibition anymore, on the theaters. I guess that I'll just get to see this movie on DVD, when it's launched here.

And Sapartacus, I cannot remember it now. Which one is this?

hey guys have u seen that mr and mrs smith movie? it is total crap,d begining was ok to be fair but the end part was so stupid,imagine 2 humans dodging RPG missles as if it were mere arrows !

That's the type of the movie. I knew it will be exagerated even from the trailers. You shouldn't look at that type of movies like that...just ignore the fact that they are unrealistic. It's more fun that way.

Unfortunately the Harry Potter movies suck, contrary to the books which are ten times more entertaining :cool:

it is funny may be pitty but i have never watched STAR WARs.Now i dowload it and tomorrow i`ll watch the newest .
In fact in dowloaded the all parts,but i formated my pc and i lost them;(
i lost 20 GB films;(

You have to watch it in the order of episodes: 4, 5, 6, 1, 2 then 3. That's how you get the most of them! If you do that you may find the 3rd episode brilliant.

I watched also "Constantine" this days .. with Keanu Reeves .. Keanu really rocks

.. but those movies with Lucifer are going on my nerves..

The movies aren't bad (if you haven't read the book) but you can't fit in everything in 2 hrs.

On a related note, I wonder what they'll do for the 5th installment. The main actors are already looking too old & they will have to be replaced soon.... Hmm, I wonder. People always say I look younger than my age.

Any of you guys here seen Charlie and The Chocolate Factory ? I knew this long-term's Johnny Depp and Tim Burton collaboration see us another fantasy they created once again...

Needles to say, from the theatrical trailer I have seen previously Johnny looks 'weird'... :eek:

yeah! i saw it, just a week ago. the cinema counter was almost exploding when i got the ticks, it is really hot over here. i think johnny depp looks gay in the movie with his weird haircut and stuff. and i think those little guys in the movie look abit weird, as in they all look the same! hahaha
but i liked the movie overall, very entertaining!

war of the worlds was really a crap show, the creatures look like camera tripods!

and first time tom cruise failed to entertain me too.

Well. I just got my wisdom teeth removed over the weekend which means I watched alot of movies. 8 to be exact.

Mean Streets
The Deer Hunter
Dr Strangelove
Mothman Prophecies (Garbage)
Midnight Express
Chinatown
Casino
The Watcher

Overall, M E, Chinatown, Casino and especially Mean Streets were my favorties.

Great movie indeed, Try "snitch", another Guy Ritchie movie, but American with Brad Pett.

Just saw the Japanese version of The Grudge today, well, most of it. Was it ever weird ! It's like the total opposite of Hollywood horror, where at least they assume audience idiocy

+ lead you by the hand through the story. The movie changed focus on different characters midway through + I don't even know if the ending (whatever that was) was supposed to be shocking or merely ambiguous. It sure didn't explain anything, but then neither did the rest of the movie. Probaby should've watched the Hollywood version first. Oh well. :tongue:

Overall, M E, Chinatown, Casino and especially Mean Streets were my favorties.

I once had the same weekend like yours and watched movies below:
- Casino
- Goodfellas
- Natural Born Killer
- Kill Bill series
- Reservoir Dogs
- Cape Fear
- Irreversible (only to watch Monica Belucci naked)

On the following Monday morning, after thoroughly brainwashed, I felt like hurting someone... LOL
