Borriello is a smart guy... he changed his shirt number. Well done.. well done.
OT: And Joaquin may change his shirt :head:

I'm keen on seeing your reaction if the move does fall through :D

LOL ... Impressive stats.

Whats even more impressive is what the stats don't tell ... like how he perfectly slide tackled a Geona CM from behind and won possession. GREAT work ethic.

He's right, he needs to score away from home as well. He's doing great still. Really giving the maximum of his ability, keep it up.

Great what he has done against Genoa, and that second goal, amazing :star:
Really great what Borri is showing now, I wish (as he does) that he will also start scoring in away matches, so he already could do that against Juve this week.

he should be called up for the NT. Don't tell me Gilardino is better.

He did a great job last game.

this is true, but its not something we can't just say "last game"..its becoming a trend for borriello to do good in the last several matches..i am finally glad that he got his confidence back and is back to his scoring ways..

Been wondering the same thing ,maybe his one of them late bloomers after all.Lets hope he finishes the campaign with at least 15 goals to his name.

If he scores anything between 15 and 20 this season,a striker should not be a priority any more next summer if we have limited funds again.

He's always had it. Everybody was quick to rubbish him and not give him a fair go. All he needed was a bit of confidence placed in him, and for the first time he was shown this at Genoa.

Oh well even if he is not the best goalscorer of all, id be glad if he countinue with the current rythm, which IMO is a key factor to this attacking force.

Yeah. Its all about confidence. Gila, Bori ... they all lacked confidence. Look at Antonini now. At the start of the season, he was pretty poor. Now, he's looking better after each game.

Players lacking in confidence who we should attend to: Hunter and Flamini. They would be great options if firing on all cylinders.

He played a really good game. He kept de ball in loads of difficult situations. Sometimes even with 2 or 3 guys around him. He was all alone in fornt but he did all we could ask from him.

ps. its obvious he preserved his first away goal for the game against merda

great play by Borri, made Cannavaro look like a clown couple of times. Too bad he didn't have any service in the danger-area
