when u get opportunity for such a coach u stick with him and his tactics and give him a proper shot..they knew what kind of coach he was

but my point is..that fellaini and the type of football EVERY top club plays are not compatible..hence why i said thats type of fellaini performances are only possible in epl

Fellaini and VAR. Nightmare.

Serioulsy though, I can see him being very useful tactically. One of our repeated moves was Kessie driving forward and chesting or heading the ball back to Hakan or Bonaventura. This can be even more dangerous with Fellaini, as he's one of the best players i've seen that can do that. The chaos that he causes when he's anticipating a header breaks up defensive shapes and it gives more space for players like Cutrone to feed off the scraps.

It's not pretty, but it works.
