For a long time they were like a donut, good defense and decent forwards but horrible midfield. Now it's the opposite, they finally have a strong midfield but very weak defense and forwards.

Must say I'm surprised to see Italy dominating for the majority of the half. Croatia is really bad.

El Shaarawy needs to get a goal in the second half.

DES is playing well...I didn't expect him to do well to be honest

for SES, he's doing his part DEFENSIVELY...needs to work on the attack...passing wise, he's good


the last 20 min, Italy was almost like playing juve 3-5-2

SES is good, he doesn't lose ball, he gets involved in combinations, looks for spaces. If he keeps going this way he has to score at least one.

he doesn't waste time running back to defend like Darmian.
If DES doesn't get the ball, he drops back, Darmian just stays up hoping he'll end up with the ball.

Darmian is a great defensive player, he needs to acknowledge his limits

Mattia and Stephan deserve a good team and a good coach.

When we had some sort of organization they did well and showed a lot.

They've played here in a team in shambles, under pressure, in a bad atmosphere and asked to do too much.
And injuries.

As soon as they play in a semi-good Italy team, they do much better.

Let's give them a full season with a serious team. They can surprise many people

Abate too, he might not be the most skilled player but he works hard and when he plays with good players (old milan + italy) he does well.

A healthy environment + one good cb + a mid that can help buildup and Abate+Des would improve. One sharp offensive mid would boost ElShaa's performances
