Galliani and Silvio were talking about Davids coming in, and they wouldnt want to pay his salary and leave him on the bench so if he came he would start most likely, but do we need him? I dont think so.

All are realistic targets for Milan!And with this team we will be one of the best in the world! Even though Ancelotti never played a 3 man defense with Milan he should give it a try next season.IF we dont get Davids,Max should play on his position.

Milan must play with 4 defenders, it worked this year, in the past and always... modern football in these days u need 4 in defense, except the team got 2 def. midfielders on left/right wings who can strenghten defense.....
all big teams play with 4 defends, like Manu, Arsenal, Chelsea, Monaco, Real Madrid, Bayern München, Juventus, AS Roma....
and Berlusconi/Ancelotti prefers surely more 4-4-2 than 3-5-2 or 4-5-1....

I'm not a Milan supporter but I'll post what I think is the best line-up for Milan nevertheless:

It looks a bit defensive, I know, but I'm sure it could still work. With Stam, Nesta, and San Paolo forming the three-man backline you would undoubtedly have the best defence in Serie A, even if you already probably do, and because of this Cafu and Pancaro would be given license to prioritise attack rather than defence. The midfield remains the same with Gattuso offering that bite and grinta as usual. Pirlo, Seedorf and Kaka provide the creativity and Sheva the precise finishing that a lone striker should have.

The best alternative would be the same 4-3-2-1 played this season, afterall, why change a winning formula?

Obvious Ancelotti is going to rotate the Defenders,
and Maldini himslef said he wont change his position to the left side only becoz Stams arrival,

Stam will be the one who has to play on different positions, Maldini and Nesta are set if they are available, then Ancelotti can chose between Cafu, Stam, Pancaro, Kaladze, Simic, Billy....

4. Chevanton would be a good signing for you guys imo. He's a quality player, young, wouldn't cost as much as the other forwards you've been linked with (Crespo, Morientes, Torres) and would definitely add some depth to your attack. Pippo still has another good season or two in him I would think, but if he ever gets injured or loses form, it'd be nice to have players like Chevanton and Tomasson as back-up.
