Doesn’t this specific month of the forum feel like a low point in your history as a member?

No, Giampaolo has all the pieces for his formation, the fact he's doing things differently at Milan is weird to me.

I hope his ideas work. I miss a formidable Milan. He has a talented squad, it's up to him if he can unleash it.
Talented squad?? You're getting carried away a little. All kinds of holes and question marks in this squad from backline to midfield to attackers.

If we are laughing at milan’s Plight

For fuck sake

There are more than an handful of clubs under achieving based on their investments

Let’s spend some time pointing that out as well

We are by far the worst embarrassment on that list. United a close 2nd.

Ya I’m going to disagree with you

Because of an anomaly in the China era, that number for Milan is inflated

There are other teams on that list without anything to show for their efforts as well

I know everyone is going to focus on the two goal scoring chances he didn't convert, but man, he really does provide a lot of the things we lack today that I've been criticizing the team about.

Look at how he receives every pass. His first touch is ALWAYS a clever touch into space in an attacking direction. Not a protective touch backwards to control the ball and give defenses time to recover. This is what's needed to unlock tight Serie A defenses. All of our players control the ball into protection instead of attack, that's why our attack is sooooo stale and static.

Look at his touch with his back to goal to turn between 2 defenders into space then setup Vlasic for a great shot. Had that gone in, and had Rebic converted one of his chances, I'm telling you this forum would be lit.

Yes, I get this is a weak NT he's playing against, but his style of play is likely going to be the same in Serie A.

And after every pass he makes, he runs behind his defender to get the ball back or open space for others.

And when he gets the ball on the wing he just attacks his man. Our left side historically couldn't attack shit.

And look at how when he loses the ball he presses to get it back.

I'm eager to see what happens when we have Paqueta, Rebic, and Theo on the left.

Man, if we only had a dynamic CAM that could complement him with a similar approach of great first touch and movement following a pass, it might be special to watch.

I rate Sebba Rossi higher and he wasn’t even that good.

True, Donna is a class talent indeed but can still be inconsistent and definitely nowhere near the best GK ever to fit into a top XI. There are several current keepers that are a level above (or were) let alone a good number of world class keepers over the years that far outclass him.

But I guess leaf really loves Donnarumma and I can respect that :proud: If you can rate on potential ceiling, then sure.
