Verona definitely won't be pushovers this season. Another strong relegation battle coming up I think. Can think of 7-8 contenders already (including Samp).

Samp has looked awful so far, doesn’t seem like they reinforced their squad properly after letting go some of their key players

Josip Ilicic on his day

No player in the world is better than him when he's on his day.

Conti would fit in perfectly in inter Milan.
Conte would make him a beast since he plays with wingbacks.

The one from 2 years ago or Conti right now?

If you're talking about current Conti then absolutely no. Too weak physically and mentally to play under someone demanding like Conte.

If you're talking about the one from 2 years ago, well then, yes, I agree with you.

Injuries completly killed him and I don't think he'll ever recoup his top level form again. He may find his touch again at Genoa or Udinese. I'll be rooting for him then.
