Time for some practice in a must-win game. They lads have to put the Bayern game behind them + also not think about the trip to Munich. Don't know whether we should play Nesta or not, since he looked tired towards the end. But still, having him back just reminds us of what a top quality defender is + how much Bonera still has to progress.

^^ That's what I thought at first, but I think Pippo needs a few more minutes (as a starter) on the field. Probably a Ronaldo + Pippo partnership to start :devil:

This is THE most important game for the club and its future... hope we win this in style! I dont know why people arnt so worried about this match... :/ 3 points will send us in the 5th place. We need to win this! Then we have a good chance at Palermo's position.

This is absolutely a must win for us. A classic 6 pointer that could see us within a sniff of the 4th place (who would've thought we would be happy to end in the 4th place?).

With 1 eye focused on the CL clash with Bayern, it will hard to concentrate on this game. My line up:

Dida
Cafu - Bonera - Simic - Jankulovski/Favalli
Pirlo - Brocchi - Ambrosini - Gourcuff
Ronaldo - Gila (both will be absent from the Bayern game anyway).

^^ Yep. I guess I've changed my mind in a matter of hours. Gilardino + Ronaldo to start is the best we can do - since both are our better strikers + they can't play against Bayern + we need to win.

I would let Pippo play as much as possible, the guy has almost zero match fitness and we are expecting him to score against Bayern out of the blue?

We just may need Seedorf's experience in midfield on Wednesday. Let's not write him off just yet. In any case, if Gourcuff didn't start in the first leg when it was 0-0..don't expect him to start when we're in crucial circumstances.

Milan should close the game from the 1st half.. if we are not up to 2 - 0 in the 1st half.. we may find ourself in same situation like the previous games.. Ronaldo have to do the job ( scoring ) .. also Gilardino.. Kaka should be rested on the second half .. but only in case we are up with 2 goals..

Bonera and Simic have to watch our young Pozzi.. he is fantastic this year.. we have to be sure that we get the 4th place at least.. otherwise.. we are losing money + Kaka ..

Ok Milan .. do your job now..

Based on the squad called up I think Gourcuff should start. Normally I bet Ancelotti would want Serginho but he's just come back from injury so a few minutes off the bench would be good. Bonera and Kaladze in the middle I suppose and Ronaldo to partner Gilardino up front who Ancelotti said would start.

anyone know why ambro and brocchi are not in the squad he could be resting them for bayern if he plans on playing 5 in midfield which i think he will, gila and big ron upfront with pippo coming on for the last 20-25 mins to get some fitness before bayern, oddo and janku may also be rested because they are always up and down and carlo most likely wont want them too tired before bayern.
