Imagine a fight erupting between us and the opposition. Baresi was ALWAYS there to mediate. So was Maldini. In fact, even Ambro does a good job.

For me there a good reason if pirlo being a captain, means ambro not play as starter n vice versa.
Btw from lecce games seems gattu not a ambro vice anymore, its pirlo.

Pirlo looked as if he was going to mediate but the best he was able to do was some wavy hand motions. Probably asking ppl to stay away from his hair.
He did come in later though. After things had cooled off

Teams never give the arm-band to someone coming onto the pitch, it's always given to someone already on it. In this case, Pirlo, followed by Seedorf and then Abbi probably.

Btw its shame Nesta won't accept captain armband, perfect choice IMO.
Ambro is the most fit for captaincy because that, but between those three : Abbiati, Gattu, Pirlo, I know which one I should pick as vice.

...... I'm sure in most case is if vice is the one comes from bench the arm-band is given straight to subs (vice-material) not the opposites.

Nope. You simply don't give it to someone coming of the bench, it happens. But only rarely and never at Milan. It's always given to Pirlo or Pippo or Dida or something.
