1st off, I'm moderately happy he's signed for us.

2nd, he's a lucky player... playing in a weak era. There are 2 teams in Spain, and he played for RM. Italy... they stopped being catenaccio long b4 'guain got there.

Suso needs a change of position, he isnt a winger. I think he will do well in the middle.

Seen him play there for l'pool. He's slow... thats the only reason y it wont work in the middle. Make no mistake, guy can play football. There have been plenty of damn good footballers who were slow

Ignore his lack of pace, physicality or goal/assist output

One sign of a good-top player imo is the ability to play a first time pass (especially in the final thiird)

He can't do it

Maybe that's another reason why Spain left him behind

He prefers to play in the right, but he doesn't have the most important trait of players who run in sides, Speed.

That's why, its gonna be harsh, he's dragging us down.

Remember when Montella tried so hard for the 352? His problem wasn't only the three man defence, but forcing Suso in.

Its really hard to be a suso, he's a good RW, but will never be great. Even Beckham, which is also a unique kind of RW, was a better player due to his exceptional cross & shot.

Btw That year when he finished behind Figo, Sir Bobby Robson mentioned that the main reason why Figo won was his ability to beat his man.
