Australia's defence was great. When the score was close in the second half, I thought for a moment that they could've pushed on. You've had some tough luck on referee calls. The forward pass leading to a 3 pointer? NZ's yellow card which should(?) have been a red one. I think Owens had mercy on Ben Smith because he let Kepu off easy after that high on Carter in the first half.

Haha. Only in rugby though . We beat them in every other sport usually. Incredible rugby team though. Amazing country. Congrats n.z. simply phenomenal. Dan carter deserved his beautiful send off. He has been their main architect and the key to their success. He missed out in 2011 due to injury but man, he delivered when it mattered for them despite being past his prime.
Aus head to head vs n.z is pitiful lol.
Its like 45 - 93 haha.

Yea but i reckon n.z took the foot off the gas for a bit when they established a significant lead before the second half. As soon as their clutch players decided to play at their best, we got demolished. Its also a mental game imo, we are mentally just scared whenever we go up against nz. due to the amount of losses we have suffered against them since 1996. In saying that, our current crop of players in the youth development league seem to have a lot of potential. Lets see how to they go in the next wc.

Ben Smith should not have been red carded come one Wesley this is a mans game, he dropped him slowly on his shoulder, the guy was fine. That shot around the neck of Carter was worse IMO

Carter single handedly won the game in 5 minutes. The drop goal, chip kick, tackle, resulting scrum penalty. Put it out of reach

That is the what the greatest players do.

Best #10 to play the game. Will miss him hugely, what a player

It's just a spear tackle that was dangerous. You could've seen by Smith's reaction how serious it was. The video referee even asked Owens if he'd like to see it again indicating that it's a red.

RIP Jonah Lomu

Such a humbling experience that a man of his stature can die so early because of disease. He was just 40

The first time i saw him was in a national geographic documentary where they were explaining newtons law on the force jonah lomu generates from his mass and acceleration. 6'6, 116 kgs, and 100m in 10.28... Absolutely wrecking ball

inb4 massaro ruins another sport and memory by pretending he has been watching lomu from 1995 world cup and posts youtube vids

Now that the bandwagon from Birmingstan has left we can talk real rugby.

The northern hemisphere vs southern hemisphere test matches are all intriguing in their own way.

NZ vs Wales : the more things change for the all blacks, the more it remains the same. The post McCaw - Carter era is off and running. Very impressed with Ardie Savea and good to see Israel Dagg back in the team. They are missing Carter's kicking however. Neither Cruden or Barett are accurate enough. I am hoping we get to see Sapoaga and Damian McKenzie soon.

Australia vs England : Eddie Jones making history within months of taking over England. First the grand slam and now first series win against Australia in their history. Every last one of them looks like a new player. Other than Brown (he sucks). Haskell, Robshaw, Farell. Finally , an English sports team that isn't a total joke. Australia on the other hand have looked so damn rusty. I want to put it down to first test of the season but their decision making especially in penalties has been so poor.

South Africa vs Ireland : the most evenly matched series so far. Only because South African recycling has been so poor. I guess they should be cut some slack as well. They have lost their iconic players to retirement.

Argentina vs France : anyone not named Louis Picamole is a clown in France.

Holy sheet.

42-8 and 29-9 . Australia have just been steam rolled vs this new look all blacks side. Icing on the cake was the comment by all blacks coach, "we are still in rebuilding phase". Israel Dagg
