played ok today couple of good first touches and passes and made some intelligent runs. had 1 very good chance where he was 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper after a nice one two but made a mess of it.
had another chance where he controled in the box swiveled and shot but took a deflectio and went wide for a corner
he played on the left side but would move into the middle between the 2 cbs when padova attacked which i think was where he was the most dangerous.

Because there`s a really big gap between being awesome in Serie B and being awesome for the top 3 that is Milan.

You wish you bought those player when still kicking ball in 3rd division etc plus other name like oezil etc that playing in lower level that instantly play in high level just after playing in those stage.

not saying this kid is that good, but your statement is idiotic.

No i dont, cause i dont want us to turn into Arsenal 2 and hope some random player will turn out good. And your example with Ozil is more then moronic, everybody knew what he was capable when he played in Germany top flight league.

If he was a player from Serie A who had a good year in Serie A and showed a lot of promiss, then he is worthy for a gamble from Milan,if not he can fuck off.

One of the reports today are suggesting we will pay what it takes to sign this youngster and hand him to napoli for a deal for hamsik..

yeah, i'd rather we take a gamble on this kid than use him as a bargaining chip for hamsik, he has great potential. 10m may be too much though cause i doubt he's going to be a big factor for the cl, but he's one for the future. milan should be making more purchases like this

Guys have patience, i bet 97 percent of you havent even seen him playing in 3 or more matches. He was good in the Serie B, now he needs to prove himself in the Serie A. He has the talent and hes at the right club, Genoa, where he isnt planning to runaway. We have a good shot at landing him but hes one for the future so even if we sign him, i highly doubt that he will break into the Milan first XI, he may well stay on loan at Genoa for another season or so.

Exactly!

The kid still has to show that he can prove himself in the Serie A. Too many a times young Italian prospects get overrated and then they end up tanking in the future...

Lupoli, Criscito, Motta, Santon....need I go on?

Shaarawy still has to prove he can do it at the big stage...

he says he is a Milan fan and it is his dream to play at Milan. It would be great if we bought him and let him play this season at Genoa on loan.

He really does look like he could be the next great Italian CAM

That's exactly what will happen. We will sign him and loan him or buy 50% of his rights.

It would be an incredible investment in the future- he is a fantastic player
