Throwback Thursdays .... just waiting for the game and remembered this beauty

What a play by JRR

First the cheeky back heel with R10 closing him (his replacement at Barca #10) lel

Then to score past your biggest rivals in sport :gun

Which ends in the crowd at La Monumental (River Stadium) chanting his name

Different angle

Don't get no better than this.

was a beast in 13/14 particularly in the first half of 2014. hes got bags of energy and good timing in his challenge. since then hes been incredibly inconsistent and had a few injuries. hes been dropped multiple times and hes 22 now. when funes mori left he failed to really take the reigns of that defense. hes also not the tallest and his positioning isn't ideal, hed struggle at a top european side. I think from river mammana is the bigger talent. he's only 19 and replaced balanta in the team at key moments towards the end of last year.

Shitting on forwards in FM. Bayern, Chelsea and Barca are after him. Shit first season. FM is such a massive waste of time sometimes (all the time)

The Argentina NT for WCQs against Chile and Bolivia. No Carlos Tevez, Fernando Gago, Garay, but Lavezzi remains in the squad.

Here's a Question.... has there ever been a more stacked forward line than this one in International Football.

I count at least 5-6 World class attacking players

Its a gift and a curse. So many talents but you cant use them all. I tried to come up with a defensively solid as well as great attacking side from the squad.

3-4-1-2 with a strong team press and lots of possession.

Rulli

Mussachio - Mascherano - Otamendi

Zabaleta - Peres - Biglia - Di Maria

Messi

Aguero - Higuain

" If we have to travel from point A to point B, everyone would take the six-lane highway and get there as quickly as possible. Everyone, except Riquelme. He would would choose the winding mountain road, that takes six hours, but that fills your eyes with scenes of beautiful landscapes." - Jorge Valdano

He almost did for Villareal, what Maradona did for Napoli.

Happy Birthday Legend
