Roma fans were mad with Garcia especially because he wasn't a "winner" in UCL

Spalletti: 3 games, 0-2, 0-2, 1-1

Good result for roma.
They were dominating the match before vermaelen decided to fuck up.

What is it with Roma and signing/loaning Arsenal fodders?

Vermaelen is the archetype of modern Arsenal players. No one represented their mental and physical fragility better than him.
He even was their captain.

Roma is just terribly advised in the transfer market. No matter who's in charge, they keep signing mediocre players.

They have a great eye for midfielders though.

Nainggolan, Pjanic, Strootman.........they get just the right ones for depth as well(Keita instead of Essien, Bradley instead of Poli).
Even the flops weren't that bad. Tachtsidis deservedly started ahead of De Rossi at some point. Gago was a loan with option to buy, which they didn't use.

They also have a good eye for defenders(Benatia, Castan, Marquinhos, Manolas), although they don't seem to value them.

Pretty good when it comes to WF/AMs as well.

It's "just" strikers and GKs which they fail miserably at. And the preference they've shown lately for fodders from the Roma of EPL. Wait, maybe that has something to do with it.

Sucking Roma cock in Champions League thread?

idk, I can actually foresee Roma making a move on Galliani if he's going to be available.

I'd think they are a little too insecure to go for top dogs like Galliani. They'll stick to the corporate type directors and minimize risk.

I think Galliani don't consider them. Otherwise it would be possible. Should Galliani get shafted by League or not get a position in CL/Superleague - everything is possible.

He's the type of guy who will stick to certain cities and crowds. If not a job based around Milano, Torino or Genoa, I can see him going abroad. Perhaps to Paris or Madrid.

I'm certain some of the meetings in Ibiza is about his future also.
