Nope.. team created so many chances last year since Gattuso took over. Higuain would have taken us to 4th spot.

If the $40 + $80 offer is true Lotito is waiting until last hour to accept and have an excuse as to why they didn’t buy anyone to replace him. Who knows if we really offered that though.

there are chances and there are quality chances, we need to upgrade the quality.

Usually things would go south for a team in Lazio's position if SMS was offered a big contract that Lazio can never match. Say Milan offered him a 5-6m a year deal I'm sure Lotito doesn't have any intention of renewing him on big wages.

Montoleader should only go if we’re not required to pay a portion of his salary or any kind of compensation for shipping him out. If someone is willing to completely take him off our books great if not keep him so he can be the star regista of the Copa Italia

We started negotiating for Nesta at least a month before deadline. Signed him on deadline day..

Inter were close to him before that, but we swooped in and won over Cragnotti.

Even if we pay half of his salary and help a midtable team out, it's still a win for Milan considering Montolivo is in the last year of his deal. Rather pay 1.5m of it instead of the whole 3m to sit on the bench and do nothing.

All chances created, we were 3rd

Clear chances (not shots into row Z from outside the box), we were 10th in the league

A creative mid is sorely needed

Of course, we needed to upgrade in the midfield.. we've done it a lot (Laxalt, Bakayoko both great options.. I dunno much about Castillejo, but he looks like a better Suso from the videos).. there's room still for someone like Sergej.

But in my mind there's no question that the biggest need was striker.

A creative mid is a 'must-need' only in Serie A football from a decade ago. In the present-day football in the league, the elevation in quality comes from fast, strong mobile players. Doesnt need twinkle-toes.
