Lazy defense by Capitano on Bologna goal, thanks God we are on top of the form these days. Rebic a machine !

Conti or Calabria who will be the legit starter for the next season ? I am still rating Conti higher than Calabria. Theo is burning them all, you can see Calabria want to score everytime is going forward while Conti is unable to have a well balanced performance defensively and offensively.

This is all about trust, U have to convince the other players to trust you, when Theo is going forward 80% is a successful run that leads to other players covering him behind without bitchin. same goes for passing to a forward that always miss the goal.

Kalulu will be better than both Conti and Calabria.

As Roma 2 - Inter 2. We only have 2 pts to recuperate from Roma in 4 games. Milan probably need to get 10 pts in the next 4 games so at least one point against Atalanta.

By "this" do you mean this game, or since the switch to 4231/442?

Rewatch his Fiorentina sides' games when Chiesa and Simeone were in form in 2018, or the 7-1 Roma game. I'd say they were pressing even more relentlessly than Zlatan and co against Bologna. There wasn't as much quality, but that side beat this Milan side in terms of intense pressing game. That's probably one of the reasons for their massive drop at the end of the season.

Against Bologna, the team was pressing not so much relentlessly as effectively. They were greatly helped by Bologna's lethargy and vulnerability to pressure. It was a very slow paced game.

If I had to downplay Pioli's work and the team's recent success to justify a German revolution, I'd point to the lack of intensity of our recent opponents.
Bologna were a joke. Without Barrow, their attack is nothing. They played with zero intensity and were a dysfunctional mess.
Napoli is the only recent opponent that were running and pressing like a top team in normal circumstances, how effective was this Rangnick-instructed pressing game against them?

against napoli team was heavily unbalanced which is still his fault. introduction of salamaeker helped us easily neutralize napoli.

sassuolo and atalanta are good tests too. let's see what the team does.
