I feel like everytime messi and ronaldo come up against each over the who is better debate days for few weeks. Then ronaldo score 4 against a shit team and it starts again

I agree but that's the culture today. The tackle was a clear red as you can't go in with 2 feet like that, since it's a leg-breaker.

Problem is if Messi doesn't dive or just jumps over him, the referee wouldn't even call a foul, even though it should be red so players are pretty much encouraged to dive to get the call.


That's the annoying culture and why football is looked upon negatively by a lot.

He rarely dives tho. How many times I've seen him get fouled and he would stay on his feet. Casemiro today stepped on his foot and he still tried to run but lost balance afterwards. He's not a blatant diver like Neymar is
