So do you guys actually discuss anime/manga here?

When you 'talk' anime/manga, it just looks like this:

we do have discussions, if you ain't hopping on the train then ain't our problem. Latest was about Monster. I don't know about Kill-a-kill so I can't join that one.

I frequent mangafox forum to bathe in enough discussions. I frequent here for the sheer fun and to pick up new materials. And as well when weekly gets released. If you want to "discuss" then do it.

There used to be Maldiniac, Sage and squaresolid who would induldge in a long discussion for Naruto and One Piece.

Naruto lost its steam for me after Tobi was revealed as Obito.

No one is really responding to OP talk these days either.

Maybe i should catch up with ToG so i can join in the discussion with Swan Crocodile and Rat.

truth is, it's a bit what derp said. Some series, universally recognized, has lost it's flair a bit. Even if you bring up million theories (which I still read time to time at mangafox) the excitment to discuss isn't enough for me to go on here. I just take weekly as it is.

The other reason is that I don't have much new material especially anime - I dl'ed 1 of 2 animes in JANUARY... (just saw few images). So I got pleasantly surprised this time when I fisnished ep1 of BAKI. I'm "behind" anime watching, thus having less to discuss. And those that I've seen are imo not worth mentioning >_>

In manga it's the same issue - new material. But unlike me watching anime (too little), I've read too much manga. So I've kind of slowed down recent years. I read Monster almost a year ago, between that timespan I've hardly read new stuff.

and anime and manga is something that rocks, but, you might find yourself lost in it.
I got hooked and have spent some serious amount of time reading and watching so many stories. I think I can understand why there are complete shut ins in Japan lol

Discussion doesn't occur because it seems most people do not want to engage in it. Most of the time I have nothing to say on Claymore, One Piece, etc., so I can't give any input. If pubes gave a review of Last Exile, I'd start jizzing everywhere, or if Crook and I began a Champloo circle jerk, it'd be awesome and discussion would spring forth like the aforementioned jizzum. Unfortunately, manga day reviews and gifs are what the thread is most days, but there's nothing wrong with that.

You missed the Matrix discussion a year or so ago, General. That was the high point of the anime thread for me, though it didn't have anything to do with anime or manga, :lol:

I personally find it much easier having discussions in RL than internet. Maybe it's because I often go for feelings and it's moree xiting that way lol.

I remember bits of that Matrix convo you and Ikita had. Sadly, Id on't think I ever finished the trilogy :head:

Most discussions wil be on wednesday when the manga is released. A few weeks ago there were several OP discussions going on that lasted for days. I mean it really just depends, sometimes everyone will catch up to a specific anime/show which leads to discussion and sometimes only 1-2 people are up to date.
