Fucking overrated....he's never been the midfield general that someone in his position was expected to be.

I believe Verratti problem is too much horizontal passings. Counts for Rabiot and Motta as well. Too obsessed with controlling the game on the midfield. Like a lot of possession and overview before they start thinking vertical. Slows down their games and makes the attack in-efficient. How many times have Mbappe and Di Maria been launched over 90 min? Their only moments came through their own individual skill.

Wouldve taken Verratti off after half an hour.
Wouldve probably not even started him myself. Did they realize they needed to win by 2 goals? Di Maria/Pastore midfield and Draxler + Mbappe wingers. Forward thinking.

They started to play football when Real scored. I dont know how Emery approached this game, but if Verratti is the dictator, he fucked up badly.

Also, PSG's whole play looks very arrogant.
