Thought he played well tonight.
Great movement for the penalty he won for us.

Should have touched that Suso pass in first half. He would have scored. In such games you either take your half chances or gtfo.

2x penaltys in 2x games in a row. He's a pain in the ass, lovely guy. Hope he can bang some goals to justify to start. He's a striker, so at the end if the day the goals matter.

I like the work rate and his determination.

However, I feel like he lacks just a bit of quality to be the number 1 CF (if we are thinking about moving Bacca).

He does however hold the ball up better than bacca, actually passes to our own team and is willing to take shots.

Whereas Bacca is worse at all those things and only looks to shoot when he is 100% open. However Bacca is a better finisher IMO. Looking at both their performances this season though, it is hard to see much of a difference between the two quality wise. And for the team Lapa is playing better

He is such an irritating striker for defenders with his constant movement and industry. That said we should play the ball to his feet more and maybe not into space as he his at something of a disadvantage in terms of pace and he actually holds the ball up well and has good feet. I still prefer at this moment in time to Bacca who's negativity can bring us down sometimes despite him being an excellent striker. Lapa's energy really lifts us and he's got more to him than finishing.

I'd like to see them both in a formation with 2 strikers. I think they would complement each other well, as Bacca's strengths are Lapa's weaknesses and vice-versa.
