True. But, I didn't expect much more though.
It perfectly laid the foundation for the following episodes. Pretty much an opening of a can of worms with all the dramatic irony. (The state Jesse's in, hinting that he knows about what happened to Mike; Lydia's visit/warning; Hank's confrontation)
And about the first few minutes, I think it was a good decision. I mean, we already saw the first "flash-forward" in the beginning of the first half-season.
The writer's are just solidifying the premise of "Walt's alive, but what has he done to everyone else?" which is the smart route, because at the end of S4, everyone already expected Walt to be killed at the end of the series.
