woa easy on that DB.... they maybe mellow now, but they were the best thing people would go all out to listen back then, I've seen guys who used to listen to Oasis and brag about it (yeah they're nice), and then they become, a blood-sucking-headbangger ;)
teis man, your collections are great, I listen to most em too
just a question, wasnt Maiden in NWOBHM? Kinda lost out of touch int the music scene :head:
Yeah, but I don't think you can still call them NWOBHM. It's just a name anyway

http://www.utorrent.com/

But you should buy the album if possible. The quality is much better on CDs than on internet files. Or just copy the original CD.
I only download live performances or DVDs I can't find here.

They have zero critical acclaim and there songs are rubbish

Yep, MTV is a big joke. MTV sucks!

As for Linkin Park, they're not bad. One of the very few bands that I wouldn't turn off when played on MTV

Well , the current generation , including me, we like Nu-Metal , although Blues and melodic/death/black/heavy metal beats it anyday.
And yes , Well MTV ruined rock and roll's spirit dude...

yeah... damn mtv... there are no good music channels... but I like music videos, there are some really good by great bands (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Depeche Mode, etc)

what I hate the most is that when people leave my school they have this really disastrous and pathetic popular mtv songs playing on their car stereos as loud as they can :head:

The greatest solos for me:
1. Stairway to Heaven - Led Zep
2. Little Wings - Stevie Ray Vaughan (the Hendrix version is too short)
3. Blue Sky - Allman Brothers Band
4. Crossroads - Cream Live (the Derek and the Dominos version in Live at Fillmore East is less thundering but still bluesy)

Yeah I like it, but IMO technical ability comes second, it's all about feel for me. So the likes of Yngwie Malsteen never caught my attention. Eddie Van Halen is of course good but just not my cup of tea :)
