Plus money from sales of bacca, kalinic, gomez, bertolacci, thats easily another 30 mil or so

People seem to forget we only need maybe 3 signings. No need to spend 200 mil

We are currently on Lazio, Atalanta and Fiorentina level, 3 signings aint gonna help us catch Inter, Roma or Napoli. Juventus are on another level.

No, on paper atleast we are surely better than atalanta and fiorentina

Obviously we wont catch juve yet, but we do have a solid base. With 3 or 4 good correct signings 4th place is definitely feasible

Qaas, remind me.. who's the current Ballon d'Or?? his name escapes me.

Hazard is borderline 28. He's a product of the EPL hyperbole. Good player, yes. On CR7's level... no way.

You're saying that CR7 wont be missed at Real Madrid and is easily replaced. They would need to sign Neymar and Mbappe. Hazard is a serious downgrade on/off the pitch for them.

Wait... you're not a Messi fanboy? *raises eyebrow*

Ballon d’or has lost its credibility. The past two seasons cristiano literally turned up at best for like 4 months.. but still won the award that is based on individuals yearly performance. Those two seasons messi has scored more goals in europe, created more chances, more assists, more takeons etc etc... Looks like its not an individual performance based award

— what will juve do if he gets the same slow start he got the past two seasons? He HAS to win the uchl since its the only tournament he turns up

- I didn’t say “easily replaceable” i said he isn’t irreplaceable which is true.. They have the money to replace him.. hazard and a striker and they are good to go..

As long as they keep the ones that have been BEHIND cristianos succes the past few years they will be fine. Am talking about modric, kross and marcelo/carvajal.

Locatelli have chosen Sassuolo among the several offers he has. The two clubs are working on closing the deal for around €12M [Di Marzio]

We’re a fucking joke

Here you have the result of the club being run like a joke. Players don't take us seriously, and our hopeful youth loses faith.

We have zero credibility. No one knows what's what.

Why would anyone be against selling Locatelli, if we insert a buyback, like SKY just reported?

He's almost deadweight here (now), and his sale opens funds for other, pressing moves.

relax we have montoleader with over 3m/y contract (30 times more than loca btw)

it's his final season. whatever.

his presence has nothing to do w current mgmt or ownership.

his wages prevented him from ever being moved.

Im ok with the Locatelli deal. Biglia ist s starter under Gattuso. Locatelli needs to play...he and Milan have nothing if he sit on the bench the whole season an play only 4-5 games.

If there is a buy back option then sure, go for it.

35m wouldn't be too bad assuming that we can sell Kalinic (18+2m), Bacca (12-15?), Bertolacci (5ish), Gomez & Locatelli + one ''big'' sale i.e. one from Andre or Gigio and that would be enough for us to sign two/three good players

We should definitely have another try for Badelj and/or Meyer, too good to miss on free and we definitely need more quality & quantity in midfield

Come on guys... obviously if Locatelli gets sold we will replace him with Badelj or Paredes, who are huge upgrades.

Selling Locatelli for €13M and inserting a €20-22M buy back clause would be a masterstroke from Mirabelli. Would let us buy Paredes for that amount.

"We're idiots if we sell Locatelli"

Ya, well... every source had said he's refusing a loan and wants to be sold.... So wtf do you want us to do? Let him rot on the bench for nothing?

Sell. Insert a buyback. Move forward.

Let him play instead of Montolivo. The sources have said he either wants to play here or go out for good. Many times last year he should have played instead of Monto.

2 goals 1 against Juve 1 against Bologna dont make a golden boy.He good hes not great.Id prefer to keep him but he wont be missed. And the rest , you make it sound like hes a 22 yr ild Iniesta and we're keeping Bertolacci instead.Bertolacci has no future in Milan. He also has no market only Genoa want him.Great sensationalizing though

Is that Meech in that pic?

Also agreed, if we don't sign Badelj for free when we basically know he's interested in coming here for years, I'd be disappointed. Especially if Locatelli leaves

Roma is owned by the hedge fund of James Pallotta.

One of the greatest myths is that you can't make money in football. Football is a growing sport economically, the value of clubs increases from year to year, that trend is going to continue for a while.

Pallotta's net worth increased, Abramowitsch net worth increased, the Glazers net worth increased. The City owners are richer than they were, their investment has been long recouped.

There are plenty of ways for Elliott to make money with Milan in a way that also benefits Milan as a club. Those goals can co-exist.

fuckin Biglia

dude is gonna regress so hard this season its not even funny

classic Milan tho

prioritising average older players over promising youth.

Ye, and I dont give a fuck if Locatelli is not ready or how many mistakes he did. This is the same as the BS we pulled when we bought a washed up Essien and played him over Cristante.

So long for so called youth project.
