I'm not saying they will wait until the end of August but this upcoming week isn't do or die. It's not like Dortmund is going to go buy a replacement that costs more than Auba. They probably buy a replacement for a quarter of the price they sell him for. You said yourself they aren't rushing a decision this week and that very Milannews article says there's a chance for Auba still.

Bundesliga starts on August 18, they'll want to have a striker in place at least a week before, right?

It's getting pretty close to do or die time.

Adidas stores in India do not even keep the stock for milan jerseys anymore. They do have Bayern, Real jerseys. There are many websites selling fake jerseys in India, China and they do get decent amount of orders, as the milan jerseys are out of stock quickly.

Still have 3 weeks. And there's no rule that says we need X player before our season starts. They'll probably still finish top 3 in the Bundesliga regardless.

I wish it got settled fast, but they won't rush a big sale if they don't get close to what they want regardless of upcoming matches.

Goetze chose to go back to bvb.. and Draxler chose PSG :lol:

Right now after the Chinese spent so much money, it seems more risky for them not to buy a star striker. After spending over 700 mil for the club and over 200 mil on players it wouldn't make sense not to complete the project by spending another 80 mil on Auba or Belotti. Even without Aubameyang the team can finish top 4, but a top striker pretty much guarantees it.

When you spend over 900 mil, you want guarantees for your project.

Goetze hardly looks like a professional player those days after his Bayern spell and health problems.

Draxler wasn't even good enough for Wolfsburg :lol:

Go big or go home basically. They know they've invested far too much to cut the team short now. And as F&M have said... nothing is even close to being finished yet.

wasn't good enough for wolfsburg? he was one of their best players in 15-16

last season wolfsburg was a shit show and he bailed in january.
