Mutu has never impressed me too much, he is not such a constant player.
We see him at the news for other reasons than football. Hope he grows up because he has/had potential.
Anyway, he's not the best football player that Romania has right now. Maybe he's the most famous, but not the best.

Agreed he's too old and he wont be still playing in 2008. But for now, at least until Radoi is fit again, I think he'll be a good addition to the squad. You're a Milan fan and should know there's no substitute for experience :tongue:

I looked up the Bulgarian team and they'll be a pretty tough side to beat. I'd put my money on Romania but we shouldn't underestimate them.

Zambia is away at Chad on Sunday for the African Nations Cup qualifiers. Bafta to both!

Steaua just signed Cyrill Thereau from Charleroi. He's a striker, 23 year old and is set to be Iacob's replacement. Never heard of him so i hope he's good.

madtherchot, i would like Paraschiv now that Radoi is missing. But it's all up to the man. Piturca that is. Bafta to Zambia too.

We should be weary of the BBs ... Berbatov and Bojinov. They also seem to have a strong midfield. Dont know much about their defense. Any news on the official lineups? I think since Praschiv's injured, Munteanu should play

Munteanu will not play. In the newspapers they say Rosu will play as a second defence midfielder.

Radoi is probably one of the better, if not the best, players in Liga I. He's a defensive midfielder for Steaua but is injured (

for CFR)

Tamas is a young CB. Will be playing alongside Chivu today. He's decent and I think plays for Celta Vigo :conf:

Alexa plays for Poli Timisoara. Ex-Dinamo, infamous for his aggressiveness.

Rosu, somewhere in Spain. A small team whose name escapes me.

Radoi is, as far as I'm concerned, the third best Romanian player after Chivu and Mutu right now.

Tamas is a young central defender that vastly improved his game last season and hopefully he'll keep going like that. He signed for Celta Vigo this summer.

I just heard Alexa isn't playing. Codrea will be playing. Rosu, a left midfielder, plays for Huelva. Has been in Spain for 6 years. His highlight so far has been a hatrick against Real Madrid when he played for Numancia.

We had a lot of bad luck for this position. First Radoi can't play, then Munteanu, then Paraschiv. Alexa would have broken some legs but i don't think he would have been the best option for us.
