after looking at the frederikstad website it does indeed look like we will sign him. also the same guy reporting that we'll sign him(assistant manager), said that he has always had his passport and permit. so no loaning him out to a smaller club.

wooooooooooooom i hope he does well and turns out amamzing.

look on frederikstad website, at the bottom of the page, it says a lot fo things, there are a couple of interviews where the AM says "well there are offers for him and it's no backwater clubs". then there is a more recent intrerview where he says. "the club interested is AC Milan and the deal is nearly done, we aer nearly down the road. the only thing left is the signature".

Thought id give an update since im norwegian.

This news appeared from an unofficial fansite of Fredikstad yesterday. They claim to be well informed, but i am not sure. It is nothing but rumours as i see it.

For the player he might be talented, but he has only featured in 8 games for his club this year. And we are not talking about a great club even by norwegian standards. So i doubt he is more than primavera material.

I think the main reason the articles say we will loan is because I guess we want to protect the EU spot and bring him next year which is a good move. He's definitely more accomplished than our young strikers like Zigoni, Verdi etc - anyone but Pato among our under 20 players and no one can deny that. But he's nt a Drogba like striker from what I have read. He's only 5 feet 8 inches tall and his main skill is supposed to be real speed and finishing. More like the attributes of Etoo than Drogba

What I am concerned is why such a well known youth player is worth only under 2 million ? He has got a lot of global coverage with his accolades in the Under 20 WC and yet the Brazilians who played the final like Ganso and Guiliano are all said to be worth well over 8 million. I hope he's not a player with limited ceiling and potential. Or maybe being a Brazilian naturally increases your value . And Kaka at 22 was worth only 8 million, so maybe no flash means low value even if you are a damn good young player too. I am anyway optimistic that this signing happens and this player turns out to be a real threat in our frontline for the future.

If this is a hoax, whoever made a fine hoax as the first article even mentions the terms of contract with 10 % of future sales and other numbers etc. Made it sound as believable as it could be. But why us hoaxed again !!

Milan, is ready Adiyiah
30.10.2009 08.09 by Marco Gori
Source: Gazzetta dello Sport
Find more and more confirmed that they would like Fredrikstad striker, Dominic Adiyah (20) closer to AC Milan. According to today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri had seen off competition from Rubin Kazan and CSKA Moscow. Meanwhile, the young Ghanaian does not hide her ambitions: "I made this World Cup that is able to Messi and Aguero. Now I have to make their career."

EXCLUSIVE TMW - Milan-Adiyiah, the reasons for a yes
30.10.2009 10.36 by Francesco Letizia Article read 312 times

© photo of Philip Gabutti
Emerge on the deal that could bring further indiscretions Dominic Adiyiah to Milan: as discovered exclusively by Tuttomercatoweb fact, at the base of the rapidity with which it could close the deal there is the need for the Fredrikstad to sell the player for two reasons. The first is the almost bankrupt now hitting the Norwegians, the second is that the rules of the Tippeligaen is very similar to the Premier League and keeps the work permit only if the percentage of meetings in the National team, a number that Adiyiah not reach. The coach of the Swedish red and white, Anders Grönhagen, meanwhile, has confirmed the Scandinavian press had "nearly completed" the transfer of the player to "an important team in Southern Europe": the last clue then, crossing to the other is almost a test is that the player is edited by Roger Boli, agent also Aly Cissokho and great friend of Ariedo Braida and Adriano Galliani ... Compensation for the deal so it would be skipped in the summer ready.

Heh

Actually, I don't think Dominic is the right player for Milan. We have enough center forwards of different age groups. Why add another? Its simply bad investment, especially when what Milan desperately needs right now is a Dinho replacement.

Secondly, I didn't think he was the best striker in the tournament. Memeth (Hungary) and even that Alan dude (Braziuu) did better work as CFs. He's more of a second striker ala Pato, capable of dribbling, going wide, dropping back, using his pace, etc. and not an out and out CF.

Thirdly, I didn't think he was the best Ghanaian ... Rainsford Osei, No. 10, No 13 + the LB were pretty good. Adiyiah had a lot of service to work with, hence his epic performance during the tournament. Ghana's strong point was their midfield which was simply the best in the tournament.

To conclude, I'm absolutely thrilled if this is what is to come. I'd still like us to set up an academy somewhere in West Africa + build players from very young for according to our programs ... but I guess this is a start. Desailly has been poor scouting for us, and I hope we replace him with someone better or give him the resources + chances that he needs.

Finally ... its good to see the management looking at the Ghanaian champs, rather than the players who were humiliated ... i.e. losers Braziu

When the official Milan site http://www.acmilan.com/index.aspx post the news then I will only believe; other than that is only building castles in our Dream.

Thank you Velez Mostar for the News, but you suppose to post this News on Transfer Field Under The Rumour Commode thread; it is because the News is not confirmed in AC Milan Website Neither in Norwegian club Fredrikstad website "Which is less important".

"Adriano Galliani at the League Cup in Milan has spoken of the market, officially because of the arrival of Beckham in January: 'I confirm that returns to Milan. In the next few hours with the Los Angeles Galaxy officially announced the transaction. It 'all done, unless dramatic twists. Buy a extra? We'll see ... A Ghanaian? We'll see ... "

come on give him a break at least he didn't deny that Milan was ever chasing a Ghana player. This player is going to be bargain and we all know how Galliani like cheap players so leave him to his negotiations, i am sure he is more than willing to buy the player

Milan really should limit themselves to just buying bargain strikers if we want to see a real improvement i would suggest Milan puts bids in for Andre Ayew David Addy and Ranford Osei, in these three players we have winger/second striker a left back and a striker/ play maker.
