I used to always like Abbiati's performances for us. He always puts in 100% but Gigio has shown the true value of what a good goalkeeper is and what he is supposed to do.

Diego Lopez is better than Abbiati but I reckon he'd want to start somewhere, as xerazon mentioned I believe too that he's important for the locker room and he has a good relationship with Miha and Gigio. I'd keep Abbiati as a 2nd GK next year if he's still okay with that. Third GK can be a youth GK (I don't see anything wrong with this, at most he'll play 1-2 games a season).

I didn't really pay much attention to him post-2005 when he started getting loaned out, but even though he didn't play here during a pretty important time for us, I think I'll remember him a long time from now;
He was a big part of the scudetto run and with time I came to realize how much respect he deserves for his professionalism. I saw him play next to all kinds of players and personalities, but he was always the same hard working, always ready to jump in player.
He was here for at least 2 generation changes and yeah even though he isn't the most consistent of players, he's somewhat injury prone for a GK and he wasn't part of Ancelotti's famous squad I still think he should be and will be remembered as one of the better players of this past generation.
