Rodriguez must have family connections to an agent the worst player I've ever seen at this level of football

Too many talents are left out, the ones picked fit the coachs system.
Theo, Aouar, Fekir....calling up Benzema after a long absence...too many emotionalities in the France NT.
Imagine theo, aouar, mbappe on left side and pogba, fekir on right side. They just need to find another kante for double pivot.

MOTM Ricardo Rod. for putting that fire inside his teammates/sense of urgency by being awful.

Very satisfying to see France and Portugal go out so early

also the two teams I wanted Italy to avoid

Not very good. He was impressive yesterday but he doesn't really start for Hoffenheim

There was some discussion in Germany to implement a Bayern core midfield/attack with Kimmich, Goretzka, Mueller, Musiala, Gnabry to use some of the routines from the club level. Spain at its peak a decade ago played basically as a Barcelona clone around Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets.

I think this also explains the dominance of the Western European countries both at the Euros and the World Cup over the past decade or two. Most of the winners had a core team build around a successful, well-practiced philosophy. Much harder to do for Brazil or Argentina who has their players play all over.

Uhm, so what do we do now? I thought my team (Sweden) was boring as f-, before it basically ravaged Ukraine. So now instead Ukraine are through on some randoms event, England is through on some random events instead of Germany, best team in Europe (France) might have morally deserved to go out (being so cocky, except Mbappe) - but they are out on some random events as well, obviously superior to Switzerland.

This is almost 100% the most boring outcome the 8th finals could ever have produced. I mean we still have Italy and Denmark (surprise team of the year), the rest is BS. Spain is a good team, but its such a boring team I've started to postpone watching their games to minute 70.
