Apparently, once you reconstruct an ACL it can’t break again. So now he has 2 unbreakable ACLs.

but he looks slow and lumbery now, not like the special player he once was

There is a charm to claiming one of the leagues top talents for big money. It would be a power move, but that's only background stuff because I think Zaniolo as a player and as a talent fits well with what Maldini wants to see from that RW. And we need italians too you know. Why not get the player with the talent to win awards.
No to Zaniolo. Extremely selfish and doesn't really play the way we would want him to.

We have the highest number of wins, joint lowest number of defeats..
We have the joint 2nd best defence.. good chance we end up with best defence..
But our attack is just the 5th best in the league.. at max, we will end up with 3rd best attack..
We have a good chance to win Scudetto.. but next season, the goal should be to win after topping all these metrics.. most goals scored, least conceded...
I was low key pissed to hear the commentary yesterday saying 'Inter are without doubt the best team.. they have now gifted the league to Milan'..
No excuses next year.. total dominance

I've read somewhere in twitter

Premier league this season is mainly about who plays better, between City vs Liverpool.

Meanwhile Serie A, is a battle between who choked the less.

Not wrong.
Both gives intense pressure

I don't want Dybala, injuries, expensive, questionable workrate, tactical fit. I get it.

But.

Let's say you could guarantee that he won't be injury prone and will pull a Pirlo-like transformation (in returning to his former levels) and suddenly start caring if he came to Milan, would you take him, let's say at 5.5m?
If all those boxes are guaranteed and ticked, then yes in a heartbeat. But it can't be guaranteed and that's what makes him a risky bet

Hell no to Zaniolo. No idea what you guys see in him. If he was available for 20 m I would agree and take the gamble, but Roma are asking for something like 60 m

Selfish player with negative football IQ. A walking yellow card that can easily turn into a red. Reckless tackler. Whining bitch. Off-field issues. Major injuries and most importantly: our LB has more goal contributions (41) in the last 3 seasons that Zaniolo has in his whole career (35).

Dream would be Pioli himself improving just like our young players to become a top notch tactician
We have a team that's (I think) the 5th highest paid in the league. We have the youngest squad in the league that's challenging for something. We're playing Brahim and Saelemaekers/Messias in key positions, week in week out. We had an even worse injury crisis than last year. We had an insane number of questionable refereeing decisions go against us that have taken away 4 to 6 points. Yet Pioli is still first and people still think he's not a top coach?

2 ACLS. Lol players aren't the same after 1 let alone 2. No thank you. And to those saying you don't do the same knee after you did it once need to do some research. Broken leg and ACL are career changing. Very hard to reach the same level. I can't remember a player who has actually.

No excuses this year because they (with Juve and Napoli) have a squad that's built for the title. We don't. We are overachieving against some really bad misfortune.

Pioli is the best coach in Italy at the moment without doubt.. only coach i would consider 100% replacing him with will be Klopp...
Pep, Zidane,Flick etc. has yet to prove they can do it with a low budget squad..

Pioli has also got better as a coach I feel.. hence I am hopeful that he will also grow along with the team to become the best in the business

Only squad I felt was built for Scudetto was Napoli.. Juve has lots of missing pieces..
Inter are up there only because they hadn't had to use their bench..
My point being next step in DaPlan should be total dominance in Italy..
Inter will more or less be at the same level next year as they can't spend without sales.. Napoli could implode...Juve will be the biggest challenge if they can spend properly.. but we have less number of missing pieces in our squad and should be able to topple all these teams..

I've always insisted that next year is the year we win. I'm happy we're challenging this season, but that's a surprise and a bonus. We should aim to win next season and go far in the CL. Can't wait to see Botman-Tomori week in week out, a pressing CF that can run and play with his back to goal, a real RW, Adli...

I questioned this fact about him yesterday and two posters told me that two ACLs(one in each knee) most likely with modern medicine means there is very, very little chance it happens again.

I was being half serious.

Zaniolo seems a prick to me, but if we are going to sign a strong italian I don't see any other alternative to Berardi than him. I would welcome Berardi. He would certainly strengthen us while we continue to grow and next year we can just sign a stronger RW again and have Berardi as an alternative.

Set our initial targets low, just to watch them overachieve.
Last year the target was a European spot, we made 2nd.
This year the target was Top 4, we might just win the damn thing.
Next season....... Top 4, who knows, maybe we'll win the CL :maldinismug:

Jokes aside, does nobody realize that when Maldini took up the SD mantle, he estimated us getting back into CL within 3 to 5 seasons.
We did it in 2 years, and are continuing to do so this season as well.
We are well ahead of schedule in our original 5 year plan.
Also probably why Elliot was dealing with Investcorp behind all our backs as well.

Didn’t know we celebrated / commemorated this.
I thought we just erased it from our brains like it never happened.

Luckily he got out of the way to make space for him.

We shouldn’t be celebrating just yet. If inter pass Udinese they will also beat Empoli and Samp at home. Cagliari is a joke

Milan could lose a game or even two. I don’t trust us really..

Just take it game by game and see what happens. I pray to god Udinese beat Inter, now that would be the time to celebrate ( given we beat Fiore )
Of course we shouldn't be celebrating yet, but Cagliari and Sampdoria are both fighting relegation. Gonna be anything but easy for Inter.

I think you're right about the sporting success pushing the exit earlier than planned. Probably the issues with the stadium didn't help at all. They might have thought since the team is overachieving this year, and they might not do so next season, it's the best opportunity to sell early on a high valuation.

I totally forgot about the takeover, btw.

Pioli deserves to lead a team brimming with elite players, added one by one in tandem with the group he's already nurtured.

So many people shit on him in here immediately if things don't go our way. It's like a psychological reflex with people. Whenever we've sulked about a coach earlier that later ended up getting the sack, it was always how they used the subs that pissed people off. Pioli is a fucking masterful user of substitutes, and it's become innumerable how many times he's read the game as an expert and provided the exact substitutes to unlock a given game. Often with a woeful bench as well. Yet he's talked about not as a tactician by some, but strictly a man manager. A sulking point many used with Ancelotti as well, as if a strength like that(which is rare, wonderful and a sign of great leadership) somehow means that he can't string a smart tactical plan together.

When you beat all the big teams with an injury ridden, qualitatively lacking squad with a tremendous heart and personality which you yourself have harnessed and created - you deserve respect and adoration as coach.

I wouldn't swap Padre with anyone. We need some better players, but the coach will stay and win with this club.

So nice to see Inter giving Radu and Di Marco another chance from start (according to the GDS) even though they both played quite badly yesterday. What a beautiful club trusting its own young players. Sympathetic club.

He’s a good coach but he still needs to grow. He like a the rest of the team need to learn how to become winners. He treated cl games as any other game in a busy schedule, crashed out of copa italia in an ugly way, and chocked when there were chances to pull away with the league. To his benefit he’s had a fair share of good excuses, but those wont do him any good once the bar is raised.

We're winning with them. Imagine a team with an AM that can actually pass, and a RW that's not just a pressing machine and can maybe shoot or assist once in a while. Or playing a season with Kjaer again, rotating with Botman as the big guy next to a speed demon like Tomori and Kalulu.

His view just way too negative for my liking, and i'm a glass half empty kind of guy. It's almost seems like he doesn't support milan
He doesn't bro.....he stopped supporting Milan the moment Hakan left for Intermerda. He'd rather continue to suck on cuckan's dick than support this beautiful football club. Its just funny to me how he expect to get thumbups here when we know he's true wish. To the important stuff,we should get Viola's ass summed up while inter slip once more to further lessen the pressure. Double star here we come. Forza Milan
