Honestly, we were angry and saddened by Pl's sale... Roy went on to become not just a Utd legend but a Football one also, but at the time, at the time PI was the midfield beast... up & down all game long, hard as nails, had a few goals in him, cud play enough to control the game a little. Credit to SAF he saw Roy's ceiling way back then.

Pace is like oxygen to Eng players, where there is no pace they wither and die... his time at inter.

Lol! I think Roy doesnt like Scholes much... few times I seen him leaving him out of his teams... must be PS closeness with SAF.

He always speaks really well of Scholes but I do reckon it could be a little because of SAF and his link with that crop of youth players. I'm glad he put Becks in.

Rio was there longer but I'd have Stam and Vidic as the centre back pair.

I feel with the appalling seasons over the past few years, many players have been mentally destroyed. Some of them could move on and play great football, but they need to get out. Keep De Gea and Ronaldo. After that, carefully pick a handful. The rest need to feck off as 7-8 new signings need to be made, plus a few youth players promoted.
