can you please logicly and looking in finance tell us HOW IT ISNT DOOM AND GLOOM.
Because Elliott retains a stake, and RedBird is a serious property.

You don't do such a huge investment to become the new Udinese

It's in both parties' interest to continue to grow.

I don't understand why RedBird necessarily means doom and gloom.
I was actually worried about Investcorp and how a sudden shift in strategy would affect everything. Redbird seems likely to be very hands off in the same way Elliott are, and would just let the professionals (MMM) do their job.

Investcorp we’re wanted because people thought rich Arabs were behind them, but that means it’s a vanity purchase and not an investment. Vaninty projects are run on emotion. Emotions cloud judgement. We want Maldini to work his magic without being told what to do

It seems like Redbird + Elliott will do that.

Yeah, as long as MMM get to continue I couldn't be less concerned.

As we grow we will have more spending power anyhow, with our own numbers.

We wont,

Elliot is colosal firme, this redshit is so small.
we will sell leao for sure and do you think they will build new stadium after spending 1.3 bil that can go to 1.8 mil Eur and they have 4.5 B USD.
We don’t need anyone to inject funds into the club anymore. That’s why the club is valuable. We don’t need the 100m that Berlusconi paid every year to cover the losses. Elliott haven’t done that this year and it’s projected we’re going to get a profit next season. AC Milan is a self sustaining business now. We don’t need a sugar daddy. It doesn’t matter how loaded our owners are, they just need to be competent enough to hire the right people.

Why say goodbye to stadium? It’s a way to increase revenues significantly. I wouldn’t be surprised if we green light the Sesto project soon if the public debate for San Siro drags on.

Nothing changes. This is just a confirmation that we’re continuing on the same path, which has been proven to be a phenomenal success so far.
What is Elliott Management worth?

approximately $51.5 billion

The assets under management (AUM) of Redbird Capital Partners Management LLC is $3.54 billion, all of which is managed in discretionary accounts.

Yeeee same path and new stadium worth 700mil hahah

IMAGINE MILAN AGAIN WITH THIS FUCKERS WHO THINK MONEYBALL IS ONLY WAY IN FOOTBALL TO BE GREAT.
And they said that they want to build something like Red Bull project. Imagine with Lpool and Milan in their hand, guess who will become 'the new Salszburg' and 'the new Leipzig'? 🤣

Jesus these reports about Red Bull have never even been detailed, how the fuck do you know who’s exactly behind it, if they’re on their own etc. based on a 3-4 sentence article from Milannews

It does seem they outbid Investcorp by a 100-200k… that’s it for now. We don’t even know if Investcorp will try to bid again, I guess yes since seemed pretty big on this

But yeah, there’s barely any info out there and there’s no point reading the trash Italian newspaper were shitting out about the takeover

Stadiums are financed through investment anyway, no?

Elliott didn't look like they planned to pay a dime for the new stadium, they were going to collect investors to make it possible.

It's actually very calming to me that Elliott stays on. So far they have been an actor that simply doesn't allow their assets to sour. IE in our interest.

The net worth of the owner has nothing to do with how the club performs.

We don’t spend the owners money. The club spends from the income it generates. The stadium will be financed by international investors.

The owner doesn’t go to the bank and withdraw cash to buy a player. It really doesn’t matter how rich they are as long as the club is run well and is self sufficient.

Does red bird have any control when it comes to liverpool?
If they did it would be a problem for us. A single owner can’t own two clubs in the same UEFA competition. It’s why we’re in trouble for Lille.

Before we know the details of the deal, it seems silly to conclude that Redbird acquires the club for 1.3-1.8bn to become the new Udinese.

In all honesty I don't know much about this RedBird company but I'd rather stick with Elliott as they appear to be the lesser of two evils

yea of course,5 more years between hedge funds and loans and wage restrictions
Why would the wage cap stay in place when our revenue grows?

Because it will.

4.5 B USD is their asset. Their money? Maybe around 1-2 mil maximum

RedBird will 100% bring their guys in the management though, this might be it for Paolo.
There's a timeline in my head where MMM are replaced by Toulouse and Liverpool staff...

hopefully Maldini gets to lift a Scudetto before he goes
