I think he's mostly been on an upward trajectory since coming here, so I expect him to learn from this period. Was really refreshing to see him try some unusual ideas yesterday, although it's not the first time, but it's been a while

All this injuries and absences have made him forget who his starters are… overcomplicating a lot of games.

Also has anyone else noticed how horrible his record has been since renewing….

On that note even Saelemaeker started underperforming after renewing….
Kjaer got a season ending injury after renewing…

He also needs to think long term. Why give players like Messias, Florenzi, Bakayoko, Kessie minutes over players that will be here with milan for a long term like Saelemaeker, Calabria, Tonali, and Bennacer.

Players like Saelemaeker Brahim Bennacer and Rebic are rapidly loosing form because they were dropped as starters. The same thing happened last season when we signed Meite and Mandzukic who were getting a lot more minutes than they should of had.

I think Pioli is showing a tendency to overcomplicate things and I dont think he knows how to handle a deep roster. He was doing a lot better when he had a thin team to manage.

Pioli has the capability to tailor his approach to different kind of players a la Carlo but on the other hand also has the ability to make it all fit in a recognizable structure

He overachieved this season and made millions of us happy. Grazie mille.
