Our option to redeem Dalot was 16m?

Mad, I was one of the not so many who actually seen a v good player in him

You have to consider it was hard for him to show that consistently when only occasionally starting and playing both flanks. But he seemed a great guy, everyone talked about how professional and hard working he is not to mention that I literally remember him standing in the middle of the circle pre game even when not starting games. Impressive for someone young in a new team and country. Shame we didn’t sign him

how much time did it take them to start looking for RW?
I assume for DM it will take another 2 years? Whoever in the management pushed for Baka should pay for DM from his own pocket

Zaniolo is worth a gamble for 20m max this summer and not a penny more. Worst case scenario he flops and we sell him to some midtable team like Sassuolo for 10m in a couple of years and break-even on the transfer. However, he has the potential to be something GREAT. Sell both Messias + Salad to help fund the transfer.

I liked Dalot too. Always saw potential in him and quite versatile.

He can be good in the future, but it is Chilean league.

19 so has to be 1st team - please be good and not another wait and see like Lazetic Adli etc.

Start of next season really is the cut-off point for me. Players will have the rest of this season and a full summer prep.

The Brazilian kid looks way better and more ready but unfortunately he’s EPL bound.

It wasnt Samu switching agents twice and killing his move away that blocked the money for Faivre
- no no, never that.

And no he isnt doing well so the move doesnt sting
- MMM were right all along :o

We couldve probably bought both for the price of Zaniolo and left one behind if the Non-EU thing was a hindrance.

Most of the quality players on that list will either stay/go to the EPL. However, Jorginho is probably the most realistic option and fits our needs like a glove.

Kamada is also a good option although I’m not sure he’s the type of AM we need plus he might have teething issues like CDK. Therefore, I’d rather sign somebody tried & tested in the league like Zaniolo instead who can also cover RW.

Jorginho + Zaniolo for c.20-25m combined is stellar business. Both are Serie A proven so will be able to hit the ground running and immediately make an impact unlike 99% of our recent signings.

#MOARITALIANZ

Italians are fine, if they are good. Jorginho is a yes for me.

But Zaniolo is 'tried and tested in the league and will hit the ground running'? Yes, tried and tested....and failed. So not sure how he'll hit the ground....but won't be running for sure

I meant in comparison to Kamada who’s coming from overseas and might have some adaptation problems like CDK/Diaz. However, Zaniolo already knows the league and has played well when given regular minutes and not injured.

Besides, I want a PROPER RW (in addition to Nicolo) and for Zaniolo to rotate between RW and AM with CDK. Messias + Salad need to leave.

Probably a Moncada scout job this Osorio, no? Just what you need when you're in a form dump, adding raw talent "for the future".

Also what a legendary gif-poster @Massaro94 has become.

As reported by SkySportsUK, Aston Villa is preparing a 15 million euro offer to the Universidad de Chile for Darío Osorio, a 2004 talent also linked to Milan who would offer an amount close to 5 million euro; in recent days, Tottenham has already offered his team 10.5 million euros, but the Villans offer seems to be the best for Chile. Newcastle also want it.
