He has had to taken a lot of responsibility in his first season here. I think the season has been long on him. I'd consider giving him a game off as shit as that is.

He's 21 and carried our defence for practically the whole year. The Buffon advance is shameful, but the guy has got to be tired now, considering he also plays U-21 as well.

That's what I'm hoping for. Mammana+ Roma , Paletta, Alex ( 1 yr) and Ely (low wages will expect little playing time ). Mexes and Zapata both leave.

There is seemingly a direct correlation with Abate+ Honda. If you look back to Honda's purple patch last season , he and Abate where really lethal down the right side. Then Abate got injured. Then Honda went to the Asia Cup. And so on. But I do think Kucka has impacted there play as well.

Any coincidence that Alessio has a great game with Alex back with him ? Alessio's worse games came without Alex.

^^ It's all apart of learning at a young age too of course. It's a little frustrating but it's all apart of the process. like mentioned there was some space between the defence and midfield too. That said you could argue Roma carried the defence for much of the season.

Bring him back 2016 ! Ibra and Bacca could be really fucking scary. Especially if someone like Banega is pinging them passes. Ibra- Bacca with Niang and Luiz backing them, come on!

Oh well, he is "entitled" to a bad game after carrying the defence this season. He will keep learning and improving.

Could not be more thrilled with our Alessio is progressing. Like it or not, Alessio seems to really sync in well with Alex.

Is it just me or does abate nearly always play bad in big games ?
