Congo, you see how he took Miocic’s soul.

Our Kessie can totally do that

Poor Zhang. I’ve always said her technique needs to improve. Back to the drawing board for her

Fancy move that's cool for Muay Thai. She learned this from Saenchai and used against JJ.

But this is also a good representation of why there aren't many Thais in MMA :lol:

Was rooting for DP, but sad to see how it ended for Conor, a broken foot is always painful to watch.

What a steaming pile of shit Connor managed to become. I really liked him when he was coming up, and I thought he was really talented. Now he's just an obnoxious attention whore.

Great for promotional purposes still though.

Yeah but even that part has become bad.

I think it was always cringe but he got away with it because he won and Nick Diaz's trash talk and bravado is more cringe.

Chael Sonnen, now that's a great heel

Second Diaz fight is where I thought it became cringe, I was entertained before that. Agree about Sonnen.

It may have something to do with CTE

But do you remember TUF 3? Tito trolled Shamrock like no other and constantly got the better of him in their verbal exchanges.

Then fast forward to when Sonnen absolutely destroys Tito

Yeah I remember

And when he trolled Wanderley:lol::lol:, he wanted to kill him. Tito in some sense understood that he was being trolled, but Wanderley was dead serious.

The difference between Conor & Chael is, Conor comes up with a million & one excuses when he loses & comes off terrible with it, Chael just says he's undefeated and never lost a round. That fight didn't happen

Man I need to start following this sport again. I've missed the last year or so except for an event here and there.

That?NGannou isn?t that good either?

How do you define a HW being good or not? He's big, he's strong, can punch and won the title against one of the best HW's ever. He deserves some respect.

I rate people based on skill level.

I think the modern heavyweights are less skilled and more explosive and physically fit. You see less and less of Fedor Nogueira types and more and more Lewis and Ngannou type.

I just don't see them having long careers if they don't expand on the tools we've covered above.

My original comment is more lamenting that this was Derrick Lewis' big chance and once again, he didn't really show much improvement :fp:

Upcoming blast from the past this week end:

Diaz vs Lawler II

It will be done at 185, hopefully they both put on a show. Actually if I’m hoping for something its Robby takes his soul.
