Mandzukic would be an immensely shite deal.

  • Hasn't played in over 10 months.
  • Scored 0 goals in five matches in Qatar Stars League.
  • Scored 31 in 118 for Juve before that in 4 years.

He can fuck off to Monza or wherever the previous senile management lies.

all we need is his personality and hold-up play. Others will score goals

As much I have been impressed with Maldini and Massara's signings, they seem to be very poor negotiators. I mean, we have now been pursuing Simakan for two transfer windows now and still couldnt come to an agreement. Not to mention the Donna and Hakan contracts are up in the air and we seem to be no closer to agreeing a deal still.

Really hope Maldini improves this aspect of the role.

i dont think it's a question of negotiating

Milan management decides how much money a player is worth according to them and they don't do auctions. Of course it's not a question of 1-2M, I believe what Leipzig is offering is more beneficial to the player and Strasbourg

There is more fish in the sea I guess, but don’t like the fact that an energy drink from bundesliga takes all of our targets. Paying the upamecano release clause would be nice.

I don't think they're poor negotiators. In my view a poor negotiator would be someone like Mirabelli who caves in to agents and sporting directors far too easily. Maldini and Massara are not like this. If anything, they're tough negotiators. Perhaps too tough for our own good.

Doesn't mean you're a bad negotiator. Just a bad scout:

no. they evaluate the player's value, and won't pay much more than that. won't participate in auctions. which is one of their greatest strength.

about young super promising players. that we feel "we've missed out on"
every season bring out new Simakan, Szobszlai, Kone...
and the reality is out of 100 of these talents 2 or 3 become really great... a bunch of them become average player, most are bust (even though it highly depends on where they go)

so i don't really stress missing out on those... would have liked to have em ... but there will be a new batch next summer

But they close dry loans in days, its not about negotiating, its about the lack of money.

Kalulu is a better prospect than Simakan as far as I’m concerned.

We re better of without Simakan. I dont trust him.

Better stick with Gabbia - Kalulu and Musacchio as backups till the end of the season.
And go for a serious defender with reputation end of the season

44 goals in 162 games (when he was more fit)

Leao can score more than this.

If our team is pretty much set up and we have backups then I can see us bringing in only one or two players that would be a huge upgrade for a larger fee than usual. Just like Liverpool did with van dijk or allison. I know we ain?t close to them in finances but could still pull a few 30/40 mil deals. Make upamecano poor man?s virgil.

He is a team player, would provide other players with more goals and assist, would also track back a lot. Great signing for the next 6 months.

Of course Leao can score more than this. Leao can score than most strikers out there. The guy has world class potential. So not the way to take a dig at Mandzukic.

Have people seen the way we’ve been playing the past year? Mandzukic is perfect. I can’t understand how anyone watching us play can’t come to the same conclusion.

Off topic, how is france going to choose their players for major tournaments in a few years? A playoff between their full 3/4 wc starting eleven squads?
