In the era of five substitutions having a lot of attacking players is an advantage. I wouldn't mind Ilicic to boost attack in the last 30 minutes when needed.

We finished last season with Calhanoglu playing wide and Diaz in the middle, a formation that was more similar to a 4-4-2 than 4-2-3-1.

If Pioli wants to keep with this formation, i don't see Rebic and Leao playing at LM, they would more likely play upfront, so our current LM is Krunic.
