I actually like being attacked by spammers. This is pushing our forum leaders (which are one of the best posters here) at least post something in this forum. :D

I miss the old times with some great previous members.

The constant porn invasion we're getting here is ridiculous. Why don't you make a rule so you have to have at least say.. 25 posts? Before you can open a thread?

I hate the fact that I know the spammers are there but I can't ban them just delete their stuff.

Well it'd stop them opening the new threads, and i don't particularly care if i don't get to hear some 12 year old fans introduction thread who will never post again.

Only the supermods and David. And only unrossonero and Milan my love can mod the italian subforum and the SAPL subforum.

Would it stop posting them in old threads? (no sarcasm here, it's a valid question) I mean in a way it's better if they open threads. Then you have this personal filter which might detect spam. But if they post it to old threads then you'll click on it anyway. So anyone know if not opening threads would stop spambots? I doubt ...

I don't know, if it's just a bot, wouldn't it just not do anything if it couldn't open 12 threads a second?

I suppose it's safer too if there opening threads. I'm quite dissapointed no bot has posted "Messi to Milan: Official" only for it to be hundreds of links to porn sites. Would be a good laugh for everybody who falls for it.

Some bots post to threads too. I think. But the thread opening idea is good since it blocks a bit of trolling as well.

What supermods? The only one is Gaizka. Seamus has disappeared off the face of the earth, Kyara is on yet another hiatus, and David is probably somewhere in the Maldives.

I agree with Kalac16's idea of a minimum post count before thread-opening eligibility, because many of the useless threads here tend to be opened by newbies. I think we should also delete every single old account (over a year) that's never been posted in. I'm sure that would free up some bandwidth.

Haven't been to the Maldives but I've been to lots of places, including work.

It was me that started the flood of spam. I filter them myself but some inadverently pass all the checks. Been on the forums on Sunday but I've mostly done administrative work.

I've read the PMs but most of them have been old. In case you've got something important to say, send it again.

Haven't caught up with the drama of the past few months either. I'm sure y'all been awesome. ;)

I got some new avatars in my mail that I'll upload once I get home.

Thanks to all the staff that kept this forum going. It's over the 500K mark as well. :proud:

I havent been around that much as u guys,but i don`t think it get can get any worse then this.

Trolls running around for weeks not getting banned only after they do something really "serious " :o ..or not getting banned at all like that one confused closed case tsar.

Inter fans or any other fans for that matter including Milan ones should only be allowed to post if they don`t constantly stir up shit.Of course i`m not saying to ban people from the first mistake ,warn then ban if it happens again.

Great idea,i would push it even further something like 3 months like the avatar one.Allow them to make posts only in the introduction section,this way u can get to say hello,but u don`t spam the whole forum whit duplicate threads and what not.

from the history of mods i want a moderate person and a user who is sane and never argue should be mod or temporary mod.

Lisa is the best candidate, she is online and never say shit about others and report those spam bots but she shouldnt be given the rights to delete posts from match thread (there wont be any fun) :tongue:
