looks like you need to build a team instead of getting bunch of players

no cf
no reliable in attack rw
no reliable sub for hakan
no reliable sub for kessie

benna-kessie dont look so great in attack (scoring or assisting) and we need to have one player able to do something around the box

hakan has good 15-20 games per season and thats all -asking for more than 4m

what about cbs - do we need scout and try 2 new one (may turn good, but also bad)
tomori lack awareness (maybe he needs more time) but cost serious money
romag lack speed and asking for more money

not sure what to do if club is without money

we can't blame all on Maldini, there definitely was a lack of funds

and considering he did pretty good

I blame Maldink for renewing Ibras contract (on higher wages) when the guy hardly features and will likely miss more matches or even be banned from football due to his involvement in betting.

ibra has same wage as before and his 7m cost us 10m gross (iirc) because of the italian law.
if he will be suspended by fifa/uefa because of own decisions then his contract will be terminated, not a milan fault.

Our wages have reduced significantly while getting a better and more valuable team since Maldini was appointed.

If dollar, Zlatan, Hakan and maybe even Roma are leaving our wage structure is more than fine.

Professional football is a business

What is your point?

People can't stand the reality that this is what it is for a while.

Until we hit CL, get a stadium, or something that drastically improve the clubs value for them to sell.

Great wage managment by riding down contracts with valuable players  now we will either lose them for free or have to pay through the roof if we want extend :proud:

I dont know, is being proactive with contract management even a thing?

Like, starting the contract talks a few years earlier for one?

Why do you think they didn't?

Pretty sure Hakan and Donna had these demands long time ago

So they either failed at their jobs or didn't do their jobs. Whatever makes you feel better.

The excuses Maldini is getting are laughable. If a player refuses to commit long term, or demands unreasonably, maybe just maybe, start looking around for options?

It's going to be a sight this summer when Maldini absolutely failed at everything, from keeping important players at a reasonable price to offloading coming back from loan and unwanted players to replacing the players we don't even own

Keep making excuses people.

Another busy summer for Maldini. The obvious is a Samu exit, and efforts for renewal. It will be interesting to see who we end up keeping. Dalot and Diaz are good but with out options and high ask we might pass. Tomorri was impressive according to most but for the half a season we didnt do well in. Tonali did not break in at all, but supposedly we had a gentlemen?s agreement with Brescia. We need a tower in the midfield but i dont think either Meite or Krunic offer that. Also the issue of Romagnoli dropped minutes and also the Hauge and Leao inconsistencies.

Its also alot in Piolis plate, this is when great managers are set apart. Our team was a lot smaller last summer. Players need to exit tho for sure.

If Eliott is smart, they should be looking for new SD right now. The odds are stacking up against us and I don't see how Maldini can solve this, he's incompetant and was just riding our good forms last year.

You are talking as if Maldini had nothing to do with our good form.

The moment Maldini rejoined, the club began to compete again.

Theo was a big reason for this form. I doubt Theo joins without call from Maldini... and there are others . Maldini isn?t perfect at his job yet but he?s done pretty good imo for the very limited resources he?s had to work with . We won?t know what the winter mercato scene was but yeah not getting another center forward is gonna cost us the CL :/ That was a mistake..

What reasons?

If he's so good at making calls, we can pay his phone subscription and keep him away from anything strategic.

The Mandzukic blunder is his biggest failure so far.

Maldini spoke on the official club’s Twitch account during a livestream this evening.

“I think we should thank all the players who contributed to this incredible season,” said the Rossoneri legend.

“Gigio was a leader and often the captain. People sometimes don’t realise what it means to be a professional, it means you must be ready to change club.

“It’s difficult to accept, I realise, but it’s also increasingly difficult to see a career in one team. We must respect those who gave so much to Milan and remember Donnarumma did not lack respect for us.

“It can happen that at times you have to take different paths. I can only wish him the best.”

Intelligent, classy and 0% bullshit.

Hopefully Magic Mike will be an excellent signing. It shows Dollarumma we had a plan and no one is bigger than the club.

He should write a book - How to be an ultimate Alpha, the Milan way and have it translated in multiple languages. I will be in the first in the queue.
