It's very easy to make a terrible quick assessment during games since there's so much emotions involved and missing even 0.5 seconds on shitty streams could be decisive.
I re-watch some games and end up realizing I got certain player performances completely wrong.
Personally I think I'm an intuitive and capable understander of the game, and our player's performances in said games. It's not so much about specific moves or tactics but more of a general
feel of what's transpiring and since I played the game I recognize strong performances faster than many others(maybe)
Padre & Elliot are giving us the 4-2-3-1 high press, youth & athletic project & sustainable wagebill many of us had been dying to see since 2012. No need to make revolutionary FM style transfers in/out posts and proposals on how to revive the club anymore.
I read a lot but mainly get involved in the discussions when I strongly disagree with something and would like to add a few points that had not been raised. Or, to highlight a good but ignored point someone else made.
But I also post stats and assessments on players we're linked with in the market and give my opinion on the state of the team and the direction I'd like to go.
Hey, after Tomori I felt an emptiness after 25 windows straight wanting something towards the end. A general feel is developing. We're not a championship team(yet), and we might end up not winning Serie A this season. But if we're looking at Serie A based on the season so far it's hard for a neutral supporter to find the courage not to support this team. Our project is almost flawless in my eyes. If we don't see medals immediately the way Maldini is leading this club out of the dump is(I think) unprecedented. He fucked up royally on Giampaolo, Samu(accessible) and Duarte(directly responsible), and Krunic(directly responsible) but learned on the job. Like a chieftain meant for greatness. He's been trimming and forming our squad almost exactly to the specifications of this boards' smartest members. Often the moves have not been what we thought, but they ended up benefiting the club(Kjaer, Saele).
I've been Maldini's staunchest backer on this board. He is fucking masterful.
