Cagliari was always a must win.
But now it just means we have no margin for error.
And since Atalanta won, we can go full aggressive and not care about the last match.

Too much drama for me. I really wanted us to be qualified by now...

I expected a much harder game at Torino so at least the team are still surprising me. Let’s hope they have one more in them and they weren’t banking mentally on an Inter win.

Atalanta is way too far.
Cagliari is now important, also what others do is not important at the moment.
The only thing we need to think about is our gameplan.

To be honest, the Juventus win was the only result which didn't go our way.

Atalanta won, Lazio lost - I was hoping Inter would win but they crumbled in a shocking match.

If we win we have CL. Let's do it.

Me too. Exponentially increasing stress from the Juve match to the Torino game to this one.

I do kind of like the fact though that the players get to win the qualification themselves and celebrate it together on the pitch. Forza Milan!

Had someone told me before the season that Milan would be a win against Cagliari away from CL I would sign up without thinking twice. Whatever the failures and shortcomings of this season we got there.


BTW this is probably the hardest CL qualification ever considering the 4 spots... It's crazy to reach 78 points and not be guaranteed in. Yeah, Lazio qualified with 78 last season but they had 6 points on hand. Milan won scudetto in 10-11 with 82 points, 6 points above the second place. Serie A is as competitive as ever at the top. We will need to improve big time for next season.

I can't even begin to describe how nervous / excited I am for this game. I truly hope the players aren't losing as much sleep over this match as I am.

Our team thrives on pressure though, so I'm not entirely worried about their mentality for the match.

What they need is extra motivation and a record to break.

Just give them a table with our goal difference (31) and Juve's (36) highlighted.
Tell the boys to get the 6 goals needed to beat even that. :cool:
